My 16 and 18 year old daughters and I were driving from NJ to LI and wanted to take a detour. We asked for Gary to start and end in Brooklyn, rather than walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn, and he kindly obliged. Traffic held me up, of course, but Gary held tight and did not let on if he was bothered! Gary shared history and stories while keeping us safe as we walked across streets and thru crowds. Gary’s history of the bridge was enough to teach me a few things and not so much to make my daughters tune him out. Gary helped us with a picture on the bridge right at the time the Mexican Navy ship struck the bridge. We didn’t feel it or see it, but what a way to make the tour even more memorable.
We ended the tour at a pizza shop near our parking garage where he said we could get slices (we needed to hit the road). Gary loves being a tour guide, is a wealth of knowledge, and was flexible, helpful and fun to be with.
Gary recommended getting parking in advance. We scheduled parking at Panarama Garage 2 Mc Kenny St. 👍🏼

Must do tour with Gary in NYC
Must must do tour in New York. Gary has amazing stories & history to tell about this iconic bridge. I was surprised to understand there was so many stories behind the bridge.

Amazing tour with amazing guide
The tour was amazing. Gary is awesome, he has so much knowledge about the place & its history. He has some amazing historic pictures to showcase during whole trip.
Apart from tour, he is so helpful in terms providing information about the city etc.
It's a must do tour to know about the history of such iconic bridge in the world.
It's amazing to know there was so much to hear about this place.

A guide does make a big difference!
Charles was a wonderful tour guide. The walk went by very quickly. He used his ipad very effectively to tell his stories and history lessons. I'm so glad we took this tour instead of just walking the bridge ourselves because it was such an enhanced experience and now very memorable.

Nice experience
Gary did a great job. Me and my uncle took the private walking tour with him. He was very nice and gave us a detailed explanation about the history of the Brooklyn Bridge as well as the neighborhood. I recommend this private tour.

History, lots of information and joy
It was an amazing tour! Gary knows very well the history about the bridge, about Brooklin....showed us many interesting details, always with his good sense of humor. We had a great time!
