Had a great experience, doing the extended photo walk in Berlin with Gareth. We visited places that i would not know about and got some great ahots.

This was a really bad experience. I spent $200+ plus for a guy to hem and haw on where to take me. I didn't really get any good pictures out of it, he didn't know where to take me to get good photos. In the end i had to buy a train ticket and he took me on trains and we ended up aborting a lot of attempts because he changed his mind and didn't know where to go. I just wanted some nice shots of the city (Berlin) and while the advertisement said they know the places to go, this did not happen. In the end he ended up leaving me on a train far away from the meeting site and i had to try to figure out on my own how to get back. Will not use this service again and can not recommend it.

Very knowledgeable photographer. Took me to places that haven’t been photographed a 1000 times. As a portrait photographer having an experienced night photographer with knowledge of the city helped speed up the process of capturing some stunning images. I highly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing experience with Gareth on a perfect summer evening in Berlin. I (the photographer) learnt a number of tips from him. We also visited a number of interesting sights and photographed them in a falling evening light.We finished up with som great night shots. For anyone interested in Photography this is a great way to spend a few hours in a wonderful city. While it is not a cheap tour it is well worth the expense.

Gareth took the time to understand what my goals were for the session and went out of his way to tailor the plan accordingly. He recommended several locations with great subjects to explore and he offered constructive coaching to help me get the best shots. Don’t hesitate to book with him - it was a fantastic experience!

Having done one Aperture tour in New York, I was keen to do one in another city, Berlin. Gareth was a very helpful and considerate tutor and gave me more confidence in taking photos of architecture. He suggested a visit to Hansa Platz , which we went to and I got some good shots there. I wouldn't have known to go there if he hadn't mentioned it.

I had a great experience and was able to capture some outstanding images. My guide knew all the right places and had many excellent technical recommendations. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Gareth was the nicest person we met in Berlin! We appreciated him teaching us so many photographic techniques. He was patient and we had a great time. The things we have learned are being put to use in our other vacations.

I've take a few pictures in my past and went on a few photo tours. Most of them took me to some special places that I would never have gotten on my own and got me some nice shots. This one, actually taught me some new tricks. Was great to find some different areas of Berlin that I might not have gone to by myself but was even better to leave some new knowledge of how I can improve my photography.
