We had problems with part of our booking which included the big bus tour in Athens today 23 sept 2026. I would like to thank Billis for all his help in sorting our ticket so we could enjoy our tour in Athens. He was very polite, professional and helped us greatly. Thanks ☺️ The other part of our booking with key tours acropolis guide walking tour disaster. We will be reviewing separately.

Our BigBus tour of Thessaloniki was perhaps the worst tourist bus experience we’ve ever had. The bus tour basically drags you around the gridlocked streets from the top of the old town (where if you’re lucky you can glimpse a view of the oil tankers anchored offshore) to the grotty abandoned dockland area, home to dusty strip bars, industrial storage yards and half abandoned roundabouts. The app is terrible and none of the buses arrived on time .

Do not book! Very poor service! It is not a real round trip! You have to get off at the White Tower and wait for half an hour. When you offer criticism on-site, you are only told to complain online! Never experienced such a bad company!

If you want a commentary all about Athens with Greek music to cover everything else then choose this trip! Obviously drafted this bus in from Athens! Covered ATHENS on the side of the bus then charge full price for the tour of the back streets!

Bus did not stop at designated stops, we missed stop 5, waited one hour at stop 7 got off at stop 8 and ended up trying to flag the bus, driver in wrong lane completely, he was in a hurray so dropped us back to port. No more stops. Awful company.

CRAMMED AND BADLY ORGANIZED. Although understandably we were in peak season, the staff never checked out tickets in any point, the audio wasn't working, and in some stops, needed to wait at least 40 minutes. Next time, I would recommend the other company, City Sightseening, there were more seating spots available, and seemed that the Audio was working.

No real guidance. Almost no information on the way, mostly music in the ear phones. Buses come only once every 45 min. No shade in the open roof deck. Disappointing

The only positive point was the pickup directly at the exit of the cruise ship. For €18 per person, a single circuit, and we only did half of it. When we asked the question, they told us that the cruise people didn't want to waste 30 minutes to go visit further away!! that is exactly what we wanted to see a little further away without needing to walk. Basically they wanted to avoid traffic, and return to the boat faster to make more money. When we bought our ticket, to sell it to us, they told us that we were leaving at 9:30 AM and once on the bus, we were leaving at 9:45 AM. They were telling us lies, all the time. The only advantage that gave us was not having to go up to the upper town, but we got off there and walked back down. It is expensive at €36 for that. Take a taxi to go up and walk down.

The trip on the Big Bus was excellent! The driver Peter is an excellent host! Very pleasant experience!

Big Bad Bus, the whole experience was a nightmare. We arrived early to the Bus stop but the bus did not arrive as scheduled, we waited 50 minutes. The air conditioning on the bus is non existent. The Bus had some grimy slag stuck in the seat ( i have a photo). The Company refunded my money, however no compensation was offered for time spent waiting in the heat, use of data conversing with them for at least an hour and wasting my precious holiday time. There werent many people using this one at all. Another Company seemed more popular. I would not recommend based on my experience.
