Took the speed boat from Sorrento to Capri. Left at 8 am back by 4. Note it does not leave from main port. Recommended to find port and meeting place day before you go. There were 11 in our group. When we landed we took taxi to Anacapri and then went to museum. Took bus to Capri and then funicular back to port. Ride going to Capri was great. About 30 mins. 4 hours free time. Then back in boat for circle around island and swim time. Full disclosure: I got pretty bad seasickness coming back. So that part was not good for me but everyone else enjoyed it fine. You stop several times around island on way back. There was very little narration during ride.

We had a WONDERFUL time on our private boat tour of the island of Capri. Our skipper, Damaino, was great. He texted me the morning of the tour to let us know that he was at the dock. We met up with him and went on our way. He was very nice and answered all our questions. He gave suggestions for what to do on Capri and told us to take our time. He never rushed us the whole tour. Lunch was amazing. The food and service were excellent. The boat taxi service to the dock and restaurant was a treat. Damiano shared information about the beautiful island and showed us all its wonders. The Blue Grotto and swimming stop were unforgettable. Thank you to Frederica for all your communication before our tour. It was very helpful. The tour was one of the most special things we have done in our 39-year marriage, and we LOVED it!! After the hustle and bustle of Rome, we came to Sorrento, and the first thing we did was this boat tour to (and around) Capri. This was the turning point of our trip that brought such relaxation and pure enjoyment to our whole family. Captain and crew were top notch, and everything about the day was perfect. One of our favorite things was jumping into the beautiful Mediterranean on the trip around Capri. Definitely a highlight of our trip!! We highly recommend this to everyone.

This trip to Capri with Captain Marco and Alessia was so fabulous. They treated all the guests like we were their best friends. The boat was comfortable and beautiful with space to lounge on the front and back and shade for when you needed it (not a typical tour boat). With time to swim in the colorful blue water it felt luxurious. Don't miss out on Mondo Guide when looking for a company that is straightforward and excellent communicators.

Vincenzo was great to work with as we looked to book our trip and was very responsive which is appreciated. Mariano was our tour guide and she was great - very knowledgeable and made the day very enjoyable. We had four families totaling 17 people. Definitely recommend.

Excellent all the way around! The tour is limited to only 12 passengers. Beautiful boat with room enough on the spacious bow for all of us. We arrived to the Blue Grotto before the crowds. Such a highlight! Our guide, Attilio, and captain, Silvestro, were knowledgeable of the area and set us up with a plan for exploring the island prior todocking. Attilio also made sure we knew of the best places to grab pizza and gelato at reasonable a price (on an island where there are tourist trap rates). They also provided fresh caprese sandwiches and drinks throughout. Then, the best for last: following our afternoon on Capri, the boat picked us up at the dock and we motored around for site-seeing and a swim in the Mediterranean. Everyone in our group took a plunge. The day couldn’t have been better! We owe much of it to our guide and captain who navigated the boat with such ease, taking us right up to the waterfalls and caves. Excellent staff and service, with a sense of fun and safety as a priority. Thank you Mondo Tours and Rick Steves for recommending them on your website. We would absolutely recommend them to others.

This was a really fun boat excursion from Sorrento. My husband and I were with ten other people on the boat. We sailed to the Blue Grotto (extra fee €14 plus tip for rower) and after that around Capri. While on board, drinks were available to everyone, both alcoholic (beer, wine, limoncello) and non-alcoholic (soft drinks and water). Upon docking in Capri, Atillo, our host distributed sandwiches. He, and our captain, Alfonso, were great! They facilitated a smooth trip by giving as much information as they can so we stay on schedule, and related must visit sites both in Anacapri and Capri so we could make full use of our free time on the island. I especially appreciated the concern they showed my husband when he got motion sickness despite taking two pills before the excursion. Attilio is an attentive host and Captain Alfonso is an excellent sailor. My husband and I both enjoyed our boat tour to Capri with Mondo Guide. The memories of the fun we had will surely last a lifetime.

Don’t normally do reviews but what a fabulous experience – perfect day from start to finish … Mario was exceptional and is was fabulous to see Capri like a local, but in style. Ten out of ten … very much appreciated – in additional don’t underestimate how much time is saved by going with an expert. Uses same for 2 other tours and 2 transfers. Capri is amazing, and what is more amazing is Mondo tours! Vincenzo and Serena mapped out a breathtaking private tour where we hiked up the top of Mount Solarno, walked around Anacapri to the historical sites, had shoes made to fit our feet, lunch at Capri Palace, had private car transfer us to the shopping district of Capri, private tour of gardens and whisked away to a private boat for a tour around the islands, grottos and snorkeling. HEAVEN on Earth and so smooth! Capri can be very crowded and tough to navigate shuttle buses or get private boats. This is THE way to enjoy it! Life is short! Don't add any stress or waste of time to your life! Vincenzo can work any transfers out even back to Rome or the Almafi Coast!!
