Superb tour with an excellent tour guide who was exceptionally knowledgable and engaging who had a real passion for the tour and the history.

Easy to find the start of the tour and soon underway. Our main issue was that the tour focused a lot on how the Dover st station had been used in the wars. None of the three of us ( including one engineer) could really make out where we were in relation to the plans that were used as visual aids. Perhaps having a few more plans in the right orientation would have helped. It was also a bit of a leap of imagination to turn standing in a dusty empty corridor into anything exciting. The second half was much better as we went into other tunnels and up to the huge ventilation shaft that was a great feat of engineering. Probably the wrong tour for us as we were more interested in the structures and engineering.thought quite over priced for what you actually saw.

We arrived at the exact start time of the tour, and there was nobody there. We called the museum and they could not get us in touch with the guide. Very disappointing. We did get a refund, but word to the wise, arrive 15 minutes early.

Excellent tour and fascinating to learn about the role of the station during WWII. The highlight was definitely the ventilation shaft!! Amazing engineering...

This was such a great tour. We went to lots of places closed off to the public, was fun watching the faces of the regular tube passengers as we went through closed off doorways, you could see them wondering where we were all going. There was a lot of information and history of the stations and the guides were knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic telling us stories of what used to go on in these areas. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone interested in the history of the London Underground or just to do something different while in London. We will be booking to do some of the other Hidden London tours.

Dover Street Hidden London Tour - absolutely brilliant! The guides were so nice and knowledgeable. My 10 year old son Gabriel had been waiting to do his first your for years and loved every moment of it. Right after he pulled us to visit the outside of Down Street station where we bought an ice cream haha. Thank you for being so nice! Absolute privilege to see the areas no one else does!

This is my second Hidden London tour and I hope I can do a third one the next time I come to London again! Everything is so well choreographed and the guides’ delivery is always on point. Yes, it might be expensive but for the experience I say it’s a must do!

Well worth joining tour, amazing to see what’s going on beneath your feet. Clear instructions from guides, who were all very helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely next time do one of the other hidden tube tours. Tour requires a good level of fitness as there is quite a bit of walking.
