Kostas and Agathi made our cooking class at Savor the best we have ever done. It isn’t just that the courses we made or the selection of beautiful wines they were paired with were fantastic. It was the simple enjoyment, fun, tips, techniques, fresh local produce, wonderful Peloponnese wines and their history, cultural significance and heritage, all delivered with Kostas’ wit, charm, laughs and professionalism that provided the magic of this experience. This is a must do for anyone who loves food, wine, and the beauty of the Peloponnese.

Excellent cooking class in Nafplio. Costas and Agathi were the perfect hosts and so knowledgeable. Costas made sure to include everyone in parts of the cooking and explained his recipes and techniques in detail. You make a 4 course meal that you eat at the end with perfect wine pairings for each course. Cannot recommend this enough. It’s truly a special experience.

We had one of the best experiences in Greece of our entire vacation. The swing and meal and teaching class were ideal. We all were very experienced coooks and yet learned a lot.

Chef Costas was very attentive and his passion for food and wine made the class very enjoyable. We would recommend this class if you want to pair wines with the food you prepare and have an intimate setting with a small class size. Excellent food!

I had the absolute pleasure of joining a cooking class in Nafplion with Costos and his wonderful wife, Agatha. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with warmth and made us feel completely at home. Costos, an exceptionally skilled chef, guided us step by step through preparing a variety of authentic Greek dishes. He not only shared his professional expertise but also passed along cherished tips from his yaya (grandmother), which made the experience even more special. Agatha was the perfect sous chef and host—gracious, attentive, and a true partner in creating such a memorable evening. To top it off, we enjoyed fabulous Greek wines thoughtfully paired with the dishes we prepared. We left with full bellies, happy hearts, and a deep admiration for Greek cuisine and culture. Costos and Agatha are an incredible duo, and this class was truly a highlight of our time in Greece. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

the cooking class at Savor was an amazing experience. this class is not just about learning a recipe, Costas chooses the menu to teach specific techniques which can be applied across many different dishes. the atmosphere was friendly and light hearted with lots of opportunity to participate. and finally the 4 courses were paired perfectly with local wines. highly recommend this!

My husband and I visited Greece for a week in March ‘24. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and Maria at LandLife Travel planned an excellent trip for us. My husband and I did a few things, however, we were adamant that we wanted downtime to relax and our itinerary was the perfect amount of activity and downtime! We did a wine tasting in Nafplio and had a tour of the facility where we got to witness them bottling the wine! We also did a private cooking class with the nicest chef and wife pair who really welcomed us into their facility. The weather was beautiful and we can’t wait to come back!

Six friends had a wonderful evening at Savor Nafplio Cooking Class. It was so much fun creating a salad, appetizer, entree, and dessert, and then enjoying eating each with a paired wine. This was the highlight of our time in Nafplio, and I highly recommend it.
