Every thing went really smoothly. I can recommend TripaDeal. We had two guides in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, both called Roma. They were knowledgeable and helpful. There are bankomats (ATMs) everywhere and very easy to use. Tips are a great way to use up currency. Only very small drawback is now everyone is discovering the Stans the crowd sizes are really increasing.
We had a lovely time with Dilnoza and her family. They were so hospitable and we felt like we were at home. The food was all fantastic and the experince was lovely. Would highly recommend this if you'd like to spend time with a sweet family and learn how to make Uzbekistan's national dish.
