ウブドのギャニャール市場見学＆カデック＆プトゥ料理教室

We had the most amazing time! Kadek and his wife Ketuk are so friendly, kind, and enjoyable to talk to. They taught us so much not just about Balinese cooking, but the culture and traditions as well. The food was delicious too - we made so many amazing dishes. Their home has beautiful rice fields behind as well. If you’re looking for an authentic experience with real Balinese people, this is for you!

This was a wonderful addition to our honeymoon in Ubud. Kadek picked us up from our hotel for a nice evening market visit, followed by a delicious meal (prepared by us with tons of help from his wife Katut). They were so kind to welcome us into their lovely home and we had a great night of food and conversation. Would absolutely recommend!

We were welcomed into the home of Kadek and his family for a unique and authentic private cooking experience. A really super day which gave us an insight into the culture and cuisine of Bali as well as enjoying some delicious dishes. Our hosts were delightful, very knowledgeable and hospitable, thank you!

What an amazing day! We spent seven hours with two of the most welcoming and lovely people. The gem of this visit was how culturally immersive the experience was. Not only did we learn about the culinary life of a Balinese family, but we learned so much about the culture as well. My husband is not much of a foodie but he enjoyed it as much as I did. The food was incredibly flavorful and we had such a lovely time chatting with Kadek and Putu. If you're on the fence about booking, don't hesitate. You won't regret having this experience.

The cooking class was so Great, I learnt some food dishes and had great help and support, the food was really good and healthy…very tasty and unique! I loved everything about it.

Best cooking class with Putu! She showed us different food in the market as well as let us try each one. Every meal we made we started with the breakdown of every ingredient. This class was full hands on you got to chop all the way to cook! If we ever get a chance to come back to Bali I will be booking this class again!!! I would highly recommend this class to anyone!

We did a cooking class with Putu and we would recommend the tour to everbody that is interessted in cooking of culture. We cooked 5 dishes and could chose whether we wanted vegan/ vegetarian/ meet dishes. Putu was really nice and explained us everthing we wanted to know. She also showed us her property and her massive garden, with many fruits and vegetabels. We could also try some of them. The dish we cooked was one of the best, we tried in Bali so far. It was really delighous. After the cooking she gave us take-away boxes, to take the left overs with us. We really loved that experience. She also send us all of the recepies we cooked.

Absolutely amazing experience. I couldn’t recommend this enough. My wife and I were unsure of what to expect, but it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip!
