Wow, what a rewarding discovery! First and foremost Chamsi, our hostess. With great generosity, she shares with us her passion for Moroccan culture through gastronomy. She introduced us to the kindness of the merchants during our market purchases and the quality/variety of their products. Together we cooked and enjoyed our meal at her home while discovering Morocco...and her family just as warm:) Thank you Chamsi for your welcome, your generosity, your professionalism. You give us the taste to continue our discovery of Morocco.

What an amazing experience!! Chamsi is such a warm and welcoming person with some mad cooking skills. We started at the market and were able to select what we wanted to cook. We had the pleasure of spending half a day at Chamsi’s home for our team-building activity. The entire team truly enjoyed the experience. Chamsi welcomed us warmly, making us feel instantly at home. It was a genuine delight to learn local recipes and share a meal together in such a cozy setting. Without a doubt, this was the best team-building experience we’ve had.

If you love food and wine and learning about the culture of other countries in an intimate setting, this is for you! Everything about our experience was wonderful! We arrived by cruise ship and Chamsi picked us up at the shuttle drop off point. As we made our way to her home she pointed out areas of interest, including the Hassan II Mosque. We were unable to attend the market since it was a Friday but we did make a stop at a lovely wine store. Once at Chamsi’s beautiful home we were welcomed into her kitchen that was beautifully set up for us. We first learned to make and pour tea then got busy preparing our tangine and vegetable salads. It was so much fun and the food was absolutely amazing! This was truly the highlight of our whole cruise experience!

Chamsi is a warm and talented cook who prepared three traditional Moroccan dishes for us. It was also wonderful and special to share this meal at Chamsi's beautiful home together with her lovely family. The food was exceptional as was the good Moroccan wine. Highly recommend that you add this to your time in Casablanca.

Maria was an absolute marvel not only as a cooking teacher but also knowledgable as an historian and cultural guide. First visit was to the best pastry shop in Casablanca. Then a visit to her local farmers market which included a lot of tasting. Then she graciously welcomed us into her home, kitchen and salon. We all worked together to prepare a fabulous assortment of traditional Moroccan dishes. And then we all dined together. It was fun, educational and a memory to last a lifetime.

The entire experience was memorable. We got to see and experience the local culture as well as outstanding food.

Spending the day in Casablanca was a wonderful retreat with Chamsi She was very knowledgeable about the community as well as as then dishes we prepared. She made you feel comfortable and welcomed immediately upon meeting her in her gorgeous and welcoming home. As a party of one, I felt safe and at ease. Chamsi easy going and approachable method made it easy to learn and participate in the Market and Cooking activities. She kept me aware of my surroundings while experiencing the culture and local area in it's authentic nature. It was one of the an amazing experiences of my life.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Chamsi, buying fresh food at the market and then cooking it at her home. Not only was it the best food I ate during my whole time in Morocco, but it was a fun few hours. And I'll use these recipes for a long time to come!

I had a terrific time with Chamsi. She was very gracious, and I enjoyed meeting her family. The food we made was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
