ベルールとハレビドゥの壮大な寺院は、ユニークな「ホイサラ」芸術と建築の頂点です。ベルール寺院とハレビッド寺院では、16 世紀の輝かしい最高のヒンズー教寺院芸術を垣間見ることができます。寺院は彫刻と素晴らしい建築物で有名です。 Hoysalas は、壁、天井、湾曲した柱などの彫刻で有名な、カルナータカ州の多くの場所に非常に華麗な寺院を建設することで知られる Calukyas の以前の巨大帝国を改良しました。彼らホイサラは、ドラヴィダ様式、ヴェサラ様式の建築様式を踏襲しながらも、寺院の建物に独自の建築形態を加えることでその足跡を残しました。

早朝、バンガロールのホテルにお迎えにあがり、ベルールに向かいます。 Belur の Chennakeshava Temple は、1117 AD の Talakad の戦いでの Cholas に対する重要な軍事的勝利を祝うために、Hoysala 王自身である "Vishnuvadhana" の命令で建設されました。王は並外れた寺院を望んでおり、この地域では新しい建築様式 (Hoysala Style) で建てられました。記念碑は非常に大きく、その装飾は非常に豪華です。この寺院の装飾は、王のその後もさまざまな後継者によって 103 年近くにわたって続けられました。
ハレビドゥ市は当時、ドワラサムドラ (海への玄関口) として知られていました。ホイサランの芸術と建築の高さは、ハレビドゥのホイサレシュヴァラ寺院に受け継がれています。寺院はシヴァ神に捧げられています。また、寺院の向かいにはナンディの大きな像があります。部分的に建設するのに80年以上かかり、未完成のままでした。寺院は、最も複雑な彫刻で豊かに装飾されています。壁の碑文には、神々、人間、動物、戦争、狩猟、音楽、ダンスの画像が際限なく表示されます。最後に、バンガロールに戻り、この 1 日の長いツアーを終了します。

Fascinating Heritage which can be explored in a day from Bangalore!. Comfortable pickup on time and then you are taken to the breathtaking temples of "Hoysala" era. The finely crafted temple pillars make you certainly wonder whether the temples are machine lathe cut!

My wife and I had an excellent experience working with Mr. Jai Singh. We were staying at a hotel not mentioned in his list of pick up sites, but Mr. Singh promptly responded to our request and had his driver pick us up at our hotel for a nominal charge. The vehicle was comfortable and the driver excellent. He knew the locations well. Overall, we had a memorable experience.

It's a pure historical place and paradise for art and sculpture loving people. Its the temple made by Hoyasala dinesty way back of more than one thousand years! Once Belur was their capital also. It is 20 km from Hassan city and 175 km from Bangalore. KSRTC bus services to cover all these places(including Sravanbelagola as Jain temple) are there in a day trip.
