Interesting sites, nice lunch in Berchtesgaden and great private tour. Lots of history of the area. Thank you

Manfred was an excellent host on our short visit to Salzburg. Although our tour listed a specific amount of cultural and natural sites he included so much more. His knowledge of the history and passion for the area really showed. Even though we had a rainy cloudy day, Manfred made the best of it by visiting some sites that were not dependent on a sunny day. He also gave us many tips and web links to enhance the rest of our stay and encourage us to visit when we have more time.

Patrick was a fantastic tour guide. He is personable, knowledgeable, flexible and is generally just a lovely person to spend the day with. His English is very good which made it nice to better understand the culture and history of the region. He took us to some out of the way things that really enhances what we learned with him. He has been giving tours for over five years and really knows his stuff! Our 7 & 10 year old daughters enjoyed the tours and Patrick went out of his way to make it interesting for them too. The VW van was spotless and very roomy for our group of six. My only tip is to pack some snacks. You’re so busy touring that there isn’t much time to stop and eat. I would highly recommend this service and ask for Patrick!

Patrick, with MCM Tours and Travel - Salzburg, customized our trip to Hallstatt, Hallein and the Eagles Nest attractions to meet our groups desire to see the best sites that Salzburg has to offer. Patrick was a knowledgeable and excellent conversationalist. He answered questions about food, customs and places to stay as well as explaining the rich history of Austria and the complications of the world wars in the Salzburg area. Worth every penny to have a knowledgeable driver and your guide.

Patrick was a wonderful, friendly, articulate, and accommodating guide. One of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend. Top notch business.
