This was an amazing tour! We had such a great time and highly suggest others do this excursion! It was really fun and definitely worth it.

First class experience.A true private tour…When you book as a “group” even if there are only 2 of you then it will just be you and Angie…Lots of fun facts given and Angie flexible if you want to adjust itinerary.She makes sure you are always comfortable and warned about things we might find challenging…ie the extreme cold of the gorge so we then happily embraced it rather than being shocked! Please be brave and swim to the waterfalls…you’ll regret it if you don’t as a once in a lifetime type experience!

Angie was the absolute best tour guide and the sweetest person! Loved our stops at the Gorge and the swimming area. Lunch was also fantastic! My husband loves history and she entertained him the whole ride back with tons of Greek knowledge! We definitely will look her up next time we are in Crete! Thanks for a wonderful day Angie!

This tour is well worth the money. We normally don’t do private tours, but this was absolutely worth it. We were able to work with Angie to make some last-minute changes to the itinerary because we were tired of doing beaches. She was able to change things around at the last minute and she planned an amazing custom itinerary for us. We told her we wanted to do something more laid-back and enjoyable. So we ended up actually going to Rethymno and then also going to an olive oil tasting and a wine tasting. Being able to share meals and drinks with Angie really made us feel like we were having a true local experience. She really listened to all of our interests and catered everything around that. Our tour lasted from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. She had snacks and everything we could possibly need along the way. Angie is clearly passionate about what she does and she is committed to making sure that you have the best time possible based on whatever you want to do. I highly recommend booking this tour and working with Angie to create the itinerary that will make your day.

This was the best tour we’ve ever done. We were hesitant to do a private tour as we normally just drive ourselves. However, we were swayed by the reviews and we are so glad we were. Angie was fantastic. Not only does she know the history and interesting facts of the island, she is a great conversationalist and you can tell she really is passionate about hospitality and travel. She was extremely responsive to us as we requested a few last minute changes from the itinerary because we wanted to do something other than the beach. She listened to our interests and planned a custom day trip. We checked out Rethymno, did an olive tasting, and a wine tasting which is exactly what we were looking for. She was early to pick us up but didn’t rush us. Our day went from approximately 10am - 4:30pm. She had little snacks for us throughout the day and if we had wanted to swim she even had waterproof phone cases, beach towels, and a pool noodle. We are so glad we did this tour with a local. Having coffee and wine and lunch with Angie really made us feel as if we were experiencing Crete with a local and not just getting driven to site after site. For anyone considering Angie - just book her services. She will plan everything for you even past this just day trip if you just ask her for recommendations on food, lodging, activities, etc.

Book this tour! Or any tour with the Cretan Local! Angie was the best, she made the ride fly by while telling us about the island and we enjoyed her quick wit and humor! The Gorge was a unique and fun adventure, Kalypso beach was refreshing to swim or float around on noodles in crystal clear waters. Snorkel equipment was an available too. No long lines, just a chill visit! We loved our lunch at Spili, it was cozy and quaint! Nice local vibe. We ended the tour with olive oil tasting and honey tasting at a local olive oil factory. A fun upgrade! We even did some shopping there for local organic products and decor. What a fantastic day! Thanks Angie!

We had such a fun and unique day with Angie! She is hilarious, easygoing, and genuinely a good time to be around. She also knows so much about Crete and shares things about the island throughout the day in a way that feels natural and interesting. The gorge was absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed Kalypso Beach. Angie was incredibly prepared with everything we wouod need and even had a few thoughtful surprises that made the experience feel extra special. We really loved that the tour was private and personal. We never felt rushed and could just relax, laugh, explore, and enjoy the day at our own pace. Angie clearly puts a lot of thought into making sure her guests have a great experience, and we definitely recommend spending the day with her!

This tour was the best! Angie is so easy to get along with, we all had a blast riding along with her and she's a fabulous tour guide. We were a party of 9, 4 adults and 5 kids ages 18, 16, 16, 13, and 10. All of the stops were interesting and worthwhile, I would love to go back and spend more time in all of them. The Gorge - very cold but worth trying it. A long walk down but not too tough, i did it in birkenstocks and was fine. Calypso Beach - so beautiful and clear, a very beautiful spot. We rented snorkels and had a great time, but if i went back i'd probably bring a little float for the kids because its more of a swimming hole than a beach. Spili - the most charming little mountain town. We loved lunch and shopped around a little bit and definitely could've spent even more time there. There really was never a dull moment on this tour!

Angie was amazing! We could not have asked for a better guide. She was like good friend just showing us her paradise here in Crete. She was wonderful with our kids. I mean she really went the extra mile here-she didn’t have to but she went all out to make our experience personal, captivating and inspirational. She kept us safe, well fed and pleasantly surprised at every destination. She was flexible and anticipated our every need. Her transportation was super clean, so comfortable and COOL! She clearly knows every nook and cranny on this beautiful island and her enthusiasm was beautiful and energizing. We will always remember how she made us feel and left us wanting to book every tour she might offer. Even if you only have a half day to hook up with Angie, it’s time well spent. Thank you Angie!
