This experience was basically walking through a few temples then waiting a long time for the evening Triveni Ghat Ganga Aarti experience to begin. We made a donation at the enterance which enabled us to sit near the front which well worth it as we could see everything & could participate as appropriate. Our guide Mr. Aadi G. was very knowledgeable about the Hindu religion and how integral it is to the area. Mr. Aadi took great care in our safety navigating the market and street traffic (lots of scooters going every which way). He also coordinated with our taxi driver for arrival and departure. We are a couple in our 70's to put everything in perspective. If I were to do it again, I would choose the longer trip in Rishikesh that also goes to the suspension bridges.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience and for your kind words about Mr. Aadi G. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed learning about Hindu traditions and that Aadi took good care of your safety and comfort throughout the tour. Triveni Ghat Ganga Aarti is one of the most famous and spiritually significant evening ceremonies in Rishikesh. It attracts a large number of visitors every evening, so arriving early is essential to secure a good viewing spot, especially near the front, where you can clearly see and participate in the ceremony. This is why we plan to arrive well in advance, although we understand that the waiting time can feel long. We truly appreciate your feedback and your recommendation. We would be happy to welcome you again for our longer Rishikesh tour, which also includes the famous suspension bridges and other beautiful places around the city. Thank you once again for choosing Rishikesh Day Tour. We wish you both many more wonderful travel experiences!
