The atmosphere on board was very good partly because of the music.
We visited the Benagil caves this morning as a family. Departure on time, very beautiful background music throughout the tour. 2 guides who explained the different caves and large beaches to us up to Benagil. All embellished with sangria!! Thank you for this very beautiful experience, the stop in the middle of the sea to take a dip and for Sonia's advice.

It was an amazing tour and I would definitely recommend this tour operator over any of the others. The vessel was perfect and the operators knew the history of the caves and coastline as we visited many during our tour. They spoke in multiple languages to ensure everyone was getting the knowledge of the area. We also booked the Lagos Coastline tour and the Dolphin tour which were also amazing. I would strongly suggest booking with this company.
Wow! Simply amazing! We went on a speedboat trip; it was so fast, yet it still felt safe. I’ve never been so close to dolphins before—there was a whole family of them swimming right beside and beneath us. And the team from Happy Time was so friendly and fun! We found out about the boat tour thanks to the wonderful, lovely Sonja. She’s a great salesperson and such a friendly, charming, and dynamic woman. Hats off to her! It was truly money well spent—I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
We went on the Catamaran Benagil excursion. There were 9 of us. We were the second excursion of the day and on arrival were told boat was late back. It was about 35 minutes late. The boat excursion to the caves went well and was very enjoyable however after the caves we were asked if we would like to swim most on the boat said yes. However it was only after getting in the water we realised that there were strong currents pushing people against the boat. A number of people in the water were average swimmers and found it very difficult however the crew would not let people back on to the boat as there was a Que to let people off and to swim. The entire approach by the crew was haphazard and reckless with not a notion of what was happening in the water. A life jacket had to be thrown in to the water while the crew were doing nothing. Thankfully everyone got back on ok but many were very shook. I myself have a river cruiser and always watch conditions and it was clear that due to being late from first trip the captain cut many corners. Pure negligence and could have cost lives. We wrote a complaint and were offered another cruise but decided to stay on dry land. I have read other reviews and thankfully most are good and no issues however on our day corners were cut and it could have been disastrous. No examination of the conditions were made of the swimming area and no supervision or discussion as to the water conditions or strength of swimmers took place. I have done boat excursions all over then Mediterranean and the world and always found the crew and captain capable and aware of conditions before letting people and even people with baby’s In the water. Since our complaint I believe swimming has been cut out. I am sure there are many safe swimming spots with nice calm coves however if the crew and captain are on such tight time pressure and not able to see the risks it’s best that the swim is cut from the excursion. If swimming’s back I would recommend only going in if a good swimmer and assessing the conditions thoroughly before hand also. They are not prepared for an emergency that is clear
It was super super super! The walk is beautiful! Very complete! The entire team is top, from buying tickets at the marina kiosk to the boat staff! Well done for sympathy and respect for customers!
We enjoyed the trip and the coastal sights were beautiful. Compared to a similar tour we did recently in Greece, though, this one felt less relaxed — life jackets required and an overall faster pace. We'd also have preferred no music or lighter traditional Portuguese music over mostly American pop.
The ride was excellent. The comfort of the catamaran, the kindness of the guides. Everything HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
