We are sorry to see this review, but we believe it is important to clarify the facts, as several key statements are not consistent with the documented communication. First, the activity date had to be changed due to force majeure, and the customer was informed in writing 10 days in advance. They were offered the possibility of cancelling the booking and receiving a full refund if the alternative date was not suitable. They accepted the new date. The customer later claimed in their complaint that they had not been informed of the change of date. This is contradicted by their own written message, in which they explicitly acknowledged that Sky Rebels had asked to change the date and that they had accepted the change. In addition, we sent them a confirmation reminder the day before the activity, again confirming the booking details and date. Second, the review states that the customer requested a refund directly from Sky Rebels and that we never responded. This is not correct. No refund request was made directly to Sky Rebels. The financial claim was made through the booking intermediary, GetYourGuide. Furthermore, on the day of the activity, the customer did not contact Sky Rebels to report any problem or request assistance. We contacted them ourselves after they failed to arrive. In the subsequent written communication, the customer explained that they had forgotten about the activity and had overslept. The €148 payment was made through GetYourGuide, which acted as the intermediary for the booking. The consumer organisation contacted regarding the complaint indicated that any financial claim should be addressed to the intermediary. We have written records documenting the communication and timeline described above. We genuinely regret that the customer was disappointed, but we believe future guests should have the opportunity to see the documented facts, particularly where the review gives the impression that the date was changed without notice or that Sky Rebels ignored a direct refund request. We remain committed to transparency, professionalism and clear communication with all our guests.
