Our tour began when our guide, Hoa, picked us up from Chan May Port in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. From there, we explored several of Hue’s most iconic sites, including the Imperial City (The Citadel), the Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, the Tomb of Khai Dinh, and the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda. We also enjoyed a peaceful cruise along the Perfume River aboard a private traditional dragon boat, with a stop at a charming fishing village along the way. Lunch was delightful at a local restaurant, offering a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Throughout the day, Hoa proved to be both knowledgeable and personable, sharing fascinating insights into the country’s history and cultural traditions. His warmth and expertise made our visit to Vietnam truly memorable. At the end of the tour, he ensured we were comfortably returned to our cruise ship.

Excellent tour to the country side to see the tombs with our experienced local guide Mr Hoa. Our friendly guide was very informative of the dynasties, history and culture. We had heaps of time for photos. Mr Hoa has great knowledge of the Buddhist religion which he gladly explained at the Perfume river Pagoda. We enjoyed the tour and the local expert guide. We took the tour with driver of the 3 graves and the pagoda, the driver Tom accompanied us with a cautious and safe guide (which is not obvious in Vietnam), also explaining a little 'the places we would visit. In addition to the 4 stops we made two extra stops, one at a vantage point with bunkers and one at an incense shop, to see how they are made. On return the city also left us in a good area to eat. Thanks to our driver who made us spend a nice half day exploring the surroundings of Huè.

Really good guide & driver. The big holiday crowds did not spoil the trip thanks to both. Lots of information on the tour & help for the rest of our holiday.

Interesting tour of three Royal Tombs and Thien Mu Pagoda. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the tombs' history. Good driver too.

The experience was wonderful. The pagoda and the tombs of the emperors are not to be missed. I would especially like to highlight the work of the guide Nhienle: extremely professional, she explained in detail what we were seeing. She is also very friendly and her English is perfect.

Hòa was a great guide who helped us learn about Hue's fascinating history, he spoke good English and answered all of our questions with a friendly face. We appreciated the flexibility in pickup and dropoff as Hòa picked us up from the train station despite a delayed train, we then proceeded straight to the tour before he dropped us off at the hotel for check in.

No regrets with this tour. Nhien was great. We never felt rushed. She asked our preference in whether to go to one of the tombs or a garden house. She was honest about two of the tombs being very similar and gave us the option. She also took us to a silk shop at the end after we asked where she recommended.

Thank you so much to Hien for driving us all around Hué! We even got to stop at the abendoned waterpark and it was amazing! It was not just driving around, we also got very good information about the places we were going! Again thank you so much Hien!!!

We had a very enjoyable tour of the Royal tombs, pagoda and the citadel. Our driver, Vu, spoke very good English and explained the areas we were driving through as well as details of the historical sites we visited. It made for a very interesting day.
