My husband and friends went on our first Europe trip and decided to book this tour. I promise you will not regret it! It was one of the biggest highlights of our trip! Loooooved it so much! My family and I recently visited the Heineken experience as well as the canal cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I only wish there'd been a toilet on the canal cruise.
Easy walk through museum quarter to Heineken experience. The tour is interesting and entertaining. Two delicious Heineken beers is a treat. The canal boat ride was ok, not a must see for me. The canal boat pilot was great handling the narrow canals and unexpected boat traffic and the ride was restful.
It was interesting to see the brewery and learn the history of Heineken. The beer was refreshing. For 5 EU you can go to the rooftop bar and get a free beer, so it pays for itself. The craft beers at the rooftop bar were unique. The canal cruise was great. The narrator was a hoot!
The canal tour was fun! We couldn't hear anything while we sat outside; but chose to be out enjoying the perfect weather while we cruised! Our tour guide was so kind and welcoming. The Heineken Tour was fun and getting to drink wasn't bad either! :)
Heineken experience - I was pleasantly surprised by the Heineken experience. Besides the informative tour, there is so much to do, including various fun activity stations, and photo stations that you interact with after the tour. There’s also a bar and lounge area at the end of the tour where you can relax and have a beer and just listen to music - great ambience, it has a club like feel. Of course, there is a gift shop and you can have items personalized, such as an Heineken bottle. Canal tour - I did not actually go on the Heineken tour boat, but another boat on the pier because it was more convenient time wise. Therefore, this portion of my review should be taken with a grain of salt, as the experience may have been better on the actual Heineken boat. You had to use headphones to listen to the commentary on the boat, you were provided with light snacks in a paper bag. It was very scenic, but uneventful. I think it was about 45 minutes or so and I ended up falling asleep during portions of it.

This is a great tour for the beer enthusiast. The Heineken Experience is a great museum and a lot of fun, and the canal tour after was a great overview of Amsterdam.
