Celeste was a great guide giving us the history of the Hoover Dam and surrounding areas. The small group tour can’t be beat! She had a nice variety of snacks, water and soda to keep us hydrated on such a hot day and even loaned out umbrellas to keep the sun off of us as we toured the dam and O’Callaghan and Tillman Memorial Bridge. I would recommend this trip.
Picked me up as promised and as scheduled. Jon introduced himself and made all passengers feel welcome. Along the way he stopped and we got to see Big Horn Sheep (not scheduled) which were very cool. Then gave various historical tidbit along the way. Cooler was stocked with water, bananas and chips and even had electrolytes to add to the water. Ride was comfortable. Views of the damn were amazing. Only wish we had more time in the visitors center.
Corey was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Lots to see on the tour. Snacks, water, and sodas on the van were an added plus.
We wanted something smaller to see the Hoover Dam and this tour fit the bill. Corey did a great job sharing information throughout the tour. Would highly recommend this tour and Corey as your guide.
We had a nice time on the Hoover Dam Tour. We liked that the group was small, but the little bus was packed (no extra room if you had a backpack or other belongings). Tyno was informative and upbeat, making the event a fun day. The length of the tour was fine. Although, we probably would have spent a little more time in the exhibit if it was available. I am not sure the expanded tour was worth it, but my husband enjoyed learning more detailed information about the dam and power plant. There were many photo opportunities and great views of the dam and river. If going during the summer months, keep in mind that it is HOT! Sunscreen and water are a must. Plus if you are nervous about heights, the bridge walk might cause you anxiety. We ere grateful for the snacks and drinks that the tour provided! One other point, but not really a big deal, our hotel is a newer hotel and not on the pick-up list. Not a problem as we just walked across the street to one that was close for pick up and drop off. Overall, a good excursion.
Jon was an awesome tour guide! He created a friendly and welcoming environment and was very knowledgeable. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Max Tours to others looking to see the Hoover Dam and surrounding points of interest!
The tour was awesome and our tour guides, Jon, was really amazing! He was so knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed being with him!
We had a great time on our trip to the Hoover Dam. Our guide Celeste was very informative and was very focused on everyone having a great experience.
This was a great trip out to explore Hoover Dam. I liked that it was a small group tour in a van rather than a big bus. Corey took us out and she was friendly and informative and was also very clear with instructions and everything ran perfectly to time. We were out for about 6 hours, so were able to get back to Vegas early to do more exploring. Snacks and cold drinks were provided, which was fantastic because it was a hot day and the queue for a cold drink at the Hoover Dam cafe was long, so we were very thankful for her having cold drinks available.
Very comfortable van with lots of water and snacks. Our guide used a microphone during the drive so that everyone could hear as she described the history of the area.
