An amazing experience to hike the Buda hills and nature with Laszlo who is an outstanding guide. It’s a unique opportunity to see a less touristy part of Budapest and to learn about the nature and changes that are taking place as a result of climate change. Laszlo is great to have a conversation with across many topics and we loved the time we spent with him. Highly recommended.

Lazlo was our tour guide for the half-day tour and he was so knowledgeable with the flora and fauna of the Budapest mountains. The tour itself was very small as it was just myself, Lazlo, and 2 other people on the hike in our group. There was a very small amount of people on the trails when we were on our hike so it was quite nice and quiet! Lazlo is very passionate about the environment and addressed some of the downfalls that have impacted the forests in the Budapest mountains. Any questions that I had on our hike, he responded with a very knowledgable answer and showed us a multitude of different structures, outlooks, cave entrances, and provided us with some history of Budapest as well. It was a wonderful hike - beautiful scenery, beautiful and well marked trails, and such a friendly, inviting and wonderful tour guide! This hike can definitely be done by families with littles, solo groups, or friend groups. It might be difficult for those who need wheelchairs or for those who cannot walk long distances. The price was definitely worth the views, it was a fantastic tour. Thanks for the hike Lazlo - hope to see you again sometime in the future when I return!

The hike was very interesting and easy to do, with some amazing views and great nature. Laszlo is a great guide with amazing knowledge on all the plants, trees, birds, different types of mushrooms, and so much more. He is very friendly and thoughtful. Also got a chance to learn about the history of hungary along the tour. We also saw a cave and went through it which was interesting and unexpected. Lovely to see this side of budapest and will highly recommend anyone looking for a unique experience.

Laszlo our guide made a great day out of our hiking tour. In a nature area easily accessible from the city. We learnt a bit of the history of that side of things from the past. Some challenging sections but what's not to love about walking in nature on a sunny day. The views were worth it after the adventurous paths

I truly enjoyed this hike with Laszlo. He does a great job matching the execution of the hike to the clients abilities and expectations. There is no way, in my opinion that anyone could have done this hike without a guide, there were way too many different routes/junctions with no clear signage. Excellent conversation along the way and it was a very interesting and beautiful excursion (even with the vegetation so dry from an ongoing heat and drought period). I would highly recommend Laszlo for any hike you might have in mind.
