Great tour. Was really pleased I did it. The Guide, Rohan, was excellent. He provided good and interesting information on Delhi and each of the locations. He was also good at answering any questions.. It was clear that he is really knowledgeable on the history of India and the sites that we visited. Felt safe driving around Delhi with Habib, who was a great driver. I really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it.
I had a fantastic experience on this private Delhi tour with Shakti Singh as my guide and Habib as my driver. Both were excellent — professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating, especially considering I booked at the last minute. What I enjoyed most was that the tour focused on some of Delhi’s less-crowded historic sites rather than only the major tourist attractions. We visited Purana Qila, Feroz Shah Kotla, Safdarjung’s Tomb, Lodhi Garden, and Agrasen ki Baoli. Each location offered something different, from centuries-old forts and Mughal architecture to ancient ruins, gardens, and the fascinating stepwell at Agrasen ki Baoli. Shakti did a great job explaining the history and significance of each site without overwhelming me with information, and he was very flexible in making sure I saw everything I wanted to see. I had specifically hoped to visit Agrasen ki Baoli, and they made sure to include it in the day. Habib was also fantastic and handled Delhi traffic safely and professionally, which is no small task. The pacing of the tour was excellent — I never felt rushed, but they also did not unnecessarily drag the day out. This was a great way to see a quieter, more historic side of Delhi and was a wonderful contrast to the much busier major attractions. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Shakti and Habib, to anyone looking to explore Delhi beyond the usual tourist stops. It was the perfect about of time to explore a different side of Delhi with a stop for lunch.
