Great walking Game of Thrones tour, Davor the guide was very entertaining and funny
Our tour guide Bogdan was great! Took us to a lot of great spots and had some great stories. Some stairs to climb but he kept a good pace.
A fabulous tour that exceeded expectations. Booked for my 17 year old daughter and I. Despite the heat we thoroughly enjoyed every moment, our guide Ivan was really professional, courteous, engaging and mixed local history with GoT knowledge. An added bonus was being able to cool off after in the Lokrum sea before heading back (and the queues for the throne were not bad at all). Highly recommend to all (even if you are not a huge GoT fan).
If I could give 6 stars, I would! ✨ Davor was an excellent guide. He took us around the fort and old town, shared stories about GOT and took us to main places of filming. He was very funny, charming and his jokes definitely helped us in the 33 degree heat!! 🔥😩 bring water with you, and a hat! It gets hot! Trip ended on Lombuk island which is beautiful - we wish we brought swimming gear and towels to stay there longer to enjoy the water and rocks. Anyways, Davor was amazing, highly recommend and we wish you all the best! Thank you ❤️
Ines was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the Game of Thrones filming locations. She told us personal stories of her friends who worked on the set and other tidbits. She was very nice and helpful with recommendations and tips.
Davor was Excellent, very knowledgable, extremely informative and funny. He was very enjoyable company, in three hours intense heat, showed professionalism thoughout. Brilliant tour from a brilliant guy. Loved It! Also went above and beyond in assisting me in finding my missing glasses which I lost separate from the tour! A true gentleman, and excellent ambassador for Croatian hospitality.
Fun experience, and the guide itself is not excessively expensive. Was a very hot day, and it probably affected the guide too. Definitely recommend the experience if you are a game of thrones fan We ordered the full package and went with a guide out to Lokrum island, it wasn't so special and we could have been without, but the island is definitely recommended, just no need to pay extra for the guide. Most scenes from Lokrum have been changed with CGI, so the scenes don’t look very alike. The island is very nice. Go with swimwear, water and a small food package as the restaurant there is DYR. (Ask about student fare when buying ferry ticket, we saved 20€ per person by doing this! Works with all kinds of student certificates)
The tour guide was amazing! Please note: you must climb over 200 steps (stone block stairs) to get up to the fortress. I love the pictures provided with the context of GOT. Loved sitting on the throne!
If you are fan of "Game of Thrones" then this is must visit tour. Our guide Darko was such a lovely person with plenty of knowledge about the city, history and GOT show. He was so humble that we missed our group boat to Lokrum island and so he did the personal tour for us separately. God bless him :)
The tour was great and full of fun facts, but the guide was slightly too negative on the inaccuracies and the bad effects on the local population. Tourists are the reason as fans of the show and beacuse of this it is still viable as a tour.
