Fantastic excursion to a place of exceptional beauty where we had the chance to eat fresh fish. Fortunately, we were accompanied from Marrakech by a very professional and reliable driver. An experience I highly recommend.

Top day in Essaouira with super guide Abdoul! What a fantastic trip! Our guide Abdoul was a true hero — not only a walking encyclopedia, but also a born bodyguard. Along the way we made a stop at the famous Argan trees with goats in them (yes, goats climbing trees ) While we wanted to take pictures, the pushy goatherds turned up. Luckily Abdoul was on standby like a true tourist ninja and kept them at bay with a friendly but clear attitude. Respect! Once in Essaouira, he had arranged for us a table with a phenomenal view — think sun, sea, and seagulls watching jealously while we enjoyed fresh fish. Everything was arranged to perfection, from timing to atmosphere. Abdoul, if you're reading this, you're a legend. And to those contemplating this, go and ask for Abdoul. You won't regret it. We (3 girlfriends) went from Marrakech to Essaouira by taxi with driver Anouar. He was a very safe driver and was on time at the appointments. Anouar was very good company during the long drive and learned us a lot about Morocco. We had a fantastic dagtrip and would like to book other trips Anouar in the future.

We visited Essaouira for a day from Marrakesh. What a wonderful experience! This is partly thanks to Abdul who made the almost 3-hour drive very pleasant. Received a lot of explanation along the way. Made a stopover at the Aragan cooperative. Definitely worth it!

Fantastic 10-hour round trip excursion. from Marrakech seeing the contrasts of rural life en route. In Essaouira, a must-visit visit to the medina and the port with the unique experience of buying fish on the boat and having it grilled right there, eating it “Morocaine” style.

A very pleasant excursion because Essaouira is a beautiful city but it is far from Marrakech, however it was a pleasant 3 hour trip in a good vehicle and Lahcen is a good driver and good conversationalist. Eating in the port of Essaouira “a la marrocaine” was very fun and very economical!

After the busy and rather chaotic Medina in Marrakech, five of us from my riad booked a day trip to Essaouira through this agency. Excellent service! Our charming driver, Khalid, picked us up punctually and gave us a very pleasant and safe 3-hour drive (with one stop) to Essaouira . He dropped us off at the port and arranged to pick us up in the late afternoon after providing us with some very useful info for shopping and dinning. Upon his recommendation I had a delicious fish lunch at Il Mare overlooking the sea. It was a beautiful excursion in every sense and I highly recommend it. Don't leave Marrakech without seeing Essaouira......it's a paradise!

Delighted with this tour. Essaouira is beautiful. If you've seen Game of Thrones you'll like it even more. We ate at the local market and for me a great experience. The visit of the Argan tree very well too. All this would not have been possible without Moroccan Travel Trips which again completely immersed us in local customs
