Our experience overall was great! Our guide, Bruno, was knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic, and helpful. When we realized that some of the places we thought we were going to see were closed, he was able to take us to other places that were interesting to explore to make up for that. He also arranged for us to have a tour of the cathedral, which we weren’t expecting, so that was a pleasant surprise. The tour included seeing the bell tower and walking on the roof of the cathedral. That was an amazing experience! There was some unexpected walking on the tour (across the city center) which we were not prepared for, but it did give us a feel of what old São Paulo was like & we got to see some beautiful buildings. The museum of sacred art, and some of the churches were closed. We were also told that the monastery doesn’t allow visitors except by appointment, even though it was listed as a stop on the itinerary. We were a little disappointed about that especially since the tour company should know that those places were closed or inaccessible and not offer the tour on a day where they are closed (or at least let the customer know). But, we made the most of it and still had an incredible experience. Overall the experience was great and we would recommend it!

Great tour of São Paulo with a focus on the churches. I’m a young woman who was traveling alone for the day, and I felt super safe with Carlos and with the tour company as a whole. They were so responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend, especially for anyone worried about safety while travelling in Brazil.

I had a fantastic experience on the São Paulo city tour with Bruno, guiding our group of 15 through cathedrals, the Asian district, Afro Brazilian museum,, modern Art museum, and more. Bruno's extensive knowledge enriched the journey, providing insightful context to Brazil's development. he was open to question and responded sufficiently with good information. The only drawback was an unexpected substantial walk to one museum, catching us off guard. While slightly inconvenient, the overall tour was exceptional, earning a solid 4.5 /5 stars. Bruno's expertise and the diverse sites explored made it an insightful and enjoyable exploration of São Paulo's rich cultural and historical tapestry. Highly recommend, just be prepared for a bit of walking.
