We had a guided tour organised by Chateau d'Angkor La Residence Hotel we stayed . Guide was called Sunny and he was excellent. He was full of interesting information about the Angkor sites and taking you to points of interest . Can certainly recommend.

Qur trip to Angor wat was amazing!! We were very fortunate to have sam C as our tour guide. Sam picked us up at our hotel and took us on a trip of a lifetime. He took us to all the temples and explained the history of the temples, how they were made and answered every question in detail that we asked. It was 95 degrees and have is cold water after each temple to keep is very comfortable, please ask for Sam C when booking your Angkor Wat experience,

We booked our overall tour of Vietnam and Cambodia through Bamboo Travel in the UK. They booked our local guide for the four days in Siem Reap through Hanuman Tourism in Cambodia and they contracted with Solin Ang, a local guide in Siem Reap. She was TERRIFIC! Very personable, knowledgeable and great English speaker. She made our stay as successful as it was and brought us to lesser known temples, restaurants and a Cambodian dance venue. She was able to steer us to temples that were both more spectacular and less over-run with tourists in addition to the obligatory Angkor Wat visit. Recommend her highly! Also recommend restaurant "Olives" in Siem Reap. Great French/Asian fusion!

We arranged a 2.5 day private tour through Sam and everything was extremely easy to organise! On pick up (day one) we met with our tour guide Bunna and driver Nara and they provided the best service possible. Lovely clean vehicle. Prompt. First class driving, amazing local knowledge of the area and they even managed to get us to all our required destinations avoiding the crowds. We hired Tivea Srin for a private Sunset Tour. We had requested for a Tuk Tuk. The ride to the place was just amazing. Throughout the journey , Tivea shared many interesting topics about Siam Reap. When we reached the destination, we realised it was quite a walk uphill. He followed us up and made sure he found a good spot for us to enjoy the sunset. Tivea is conversant in English and very knowledgeable about the tourist spots. I would recommend his tour services to anyone who wants a personal touch of Siam Reap.
