Incredible experience on our colosseum tour with Sara ! We had the tour all to ourselves given the heat, but that didn’t stop us from having the best time. Couldn’t recommend it or Sara enough, the kids were engaged and had a lot of fun. Totally worth it!

Private Tours of Rome coordinated great guides and arranged entrance tickets even with short notice. The guides were great at communicating via WhatsApp about where to meet. They had a couple fun facts / activities to keep the kids interested too! Worth noting: I was initially concerned because the checkout process names a different company but all worked out perfectly.

Our tour guide, Tommaso, was simply amazing. He is a native of Rome and a working archaeologist and his passion for these ancient sites is contagious. As we walked through the Colosseum and Forum he showed us where he played as a child and where he studied to be an archaeologist. He also ran into many fellow archaeologists along the way which was fun to see. He answered every question we had and added plenty of fun anecdotes which really enriched our experience. We went on the tour with our 10-year-old and infant. He has young children and did a great job keeping our older child involved and engaged for the entire tour. Whenever we needed a moment to tend to our infant he was more than accommodating and by the end of the tour she was giggling and smiling at him nonstop. I can't recommend him and this tour enough if you have a family and want a great in-depth experience of these ancient Roman sites.

Tomasso was amazing - he taught us so much about the history of Rome. His English was excellent and he had a passion for what he did.
