My husband and I just finished a 7 day tour with Morocco Road Trips. We got picked up in Marrakech and finished in Tangier. The entire trip was incredible, from the many questions I had booking, down to every detail of the trip. The price was almost half of a competitors that I priced out and this did make me a little cautious, however I suspect our experience was better than any other company. Ali, our driver picked us up in a Mercedes mini van, with it being a private tour, this was an amazing bonus, as I tend to sleep a lot well traveling and I had my own seat to stretch out comfortably. The accomadations selected, were right in town, inside the Medinas and when rural due to the location, they provided us with breakfast and dinner. The sites, people and places we saw were an absolute dream. Ali was a big part of that and we really missed him when we had to make our way around Spain on our own. We really enjoyed this day trip (and it really takes a full day). Our guide spoke English well and was a young guy with great insights into his own country and an active interest in his travelers and their countries. We had great conversations as we passed through the Moroccan countryside. The town of Essaouira is quaint with a dynamic commercial fishing center. Very photogenic.

A private driver is really the best way to get to Essaouira- that way you have control over when you come back and also the luxury of being with just yourselves. Our driver was friendly, efficient driver that got us to Essaouira quickly, letting us choose whether we wanted to stop at various photo opportunities, the argan cooperative, etc. The company also connected us with an informative and chill guide in Essaouira who also let us decide how much history vs shopping we wanted to do - again, personalization is the key!!! He recommended great lunch spots and when we were ready to leave, contacted the driver for us. Easy, smooth, stress free.
