We had an amazing time with Sao and Bin. Both of them were safe drivers and they took care of us all day. Sao was very communicative and knowledgeable about Da Lat and Vietnam history. We really recommend to do this trip. I'd like to do a multiple day tour with them. Beware of sunshine, it's tricky up there in the mountains.
I would not recommend this tour. Unlike other tour operators, they did not call or message me on WhatsApp to confirm the pick-up time. When I called the morning of the tour, the person who picked up ask me to be prepared to use Google translate to communicate. That was not what I signed up for. I specifically chose a guided tour in English and would not have paid for it otherwise. When I called Agoda for a refund, the tour guide instead told them they had guides who spoke English so Agoda declined to refund my money. I will avoid this company from now on and will avoid Agoda also (what good in booking through them if they would not protect the consumers when the provider was clearly making false advertisement).
It's truly unfair for us to receive this review. In this situation, you were the one at fault. You booked the tour and, possibly due to imperfect weather, demanded a refund just 60 minutes before the tour's departure. To do so, you made things difficult for us by requesting to be picked up at a location other than your hotel without providing any address. Additionally: You intentionally caused further inconvenience by using a mix of Vietnamese and English in a way that was difficult to understand, then claimed we could not speak English. All of our guides speak perfect English, as reflected in the numerous reviews we have received. We hope that, if you are a person of integrity, you will understand and remove this feedback
Really enjoyable way to spend a day exploring the agricultural aspects of Da Lat. Recommended if you have an interest in Vietnamese farming methods and produce. My motorbike rider and tour guide Loi was very friendly, knowledgeable, and also discussed both the good side and challenges facing the Da Lat region, making this a very informative and nuanced tour.
i have never felt so unwelcome on a tour. my guide basically shuttled me between stops without speaking to me or explaining anything (you have to pay your own admission at every stop - which is noted in the description). the car ride between stops (i paid extra for a car because i booked on a rainy day) were painfully silent. even at the tea museum, where the guide offered to "translate" for me, he instead made small talk with the guide in Vietnamese, and when i made eye contact with him hoping he'd translate, he went silent and looked away. throughout the day, the guide made little effort to engage with me, and honestly gave off the impression that he deeply disliked me and could not wait for the tour to be over. it's possible that my guide was simply having a bad day. but based on my experience, i would not recommend this tour.
My Vietnamese guide is called Loi. He is very enthusiastic and has his own ideas. He professionally explains the characteristics of each attraction to us. We went to Dalat Square, Linh Phuoc Temple, Dalat Railway Station, Dalat Winery, Tea Museum and Dalat Tea Garden... Thanks to tour guide Loi for her enthusiastic sharing, which gave me wonderful memories. This trip was very enjoyable.
Absolutelly awesome. Perfect communication, friendly and patient driver, which give you a lot of information, he is not in a hurry, you have plenty of time for everything, it is not a problem to put your luggage on the motorbike. I recommend it to all people who want to see as much of Dalat as possible in a day. I took a late night bus, it was not a problem, he waited and welcomed me kindly.
