北京：金山嶺で終日小グループ長城ハイキング

This was an amazing experience, made all the better by our very knowledgeable and friendly guide Dewit. The hike is along a very quiet (in terms of tourists) part of the Great Wall, but still a pleasant 2.5 hour car journey from Beijing. The scenery is incredible and for most of the photos we took there were no other people in the photos, except perhaps in the far distance. There is a lot climbing up and down a lot steps, so it’s not an easy stroll, but (as with anything) the hard work is well worth it … we are both mid 60’s and keep ourselves fit and healthy, and managed even in the 29 degC heat and high humidity.

We had such a great time hiking the Great Walk! Cheney, our guide, was amazing, lots of energy and information and also kept us laughing the whole time. He was the best guide we've had in China. Would highly recommend this tour.

The Great wall experience was amazing. Highlight of China's trip and one of most incredible things I've seen in my life. Tour operator was fine. It pratically is just a transfer including ticket, There is no guide walking with you (we knew, and we didn't want that). The driver gives very basic information using translation app, it would have been nice having at least few historical or architectural information given by the driver to enrich the 2 hours driving... not saying 2 hours speaking, but at least few information: who build the Great Wall, why, when.. maybe specifically on the area we were going to visit.

I absolutely recommend this tour. First of all because the Jinshanling section of the Great wall is beautiful.. a lot to hike and outstanding views. And, very important, because of his distance from Beijing is a little more than other famous sections, it's not crowded at all! Wanna say a big thank you to our guide Cheney, who walked with us all the path and provided a lot of informations about the wall and his history (and also water, fruits, stacks...) and answered all our questions. The car we had was very comfortable and the trip was smooth and fast. Last but not least, we had a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. Tried a local dish that was much appreciate! This was one of my best days of this trip to China. Thank you to Cheney, our kind driver and all the staff of Great Wall Hiking 🫶🏻

Everything about this trip was incredibly well curated. From my initial contact with the office, where they took the time to understand what I was looking for, through to the final itinerary, the entire experience was seamless. The four-day trip was amazing. Truly amazing. One of the biggest advantages was how much they took care of behind the scenes. Tickets, hotels, meals, transportation and logistics were all arranged, which made this a completely stress-free way to experience the Great Wall. I was also blown away by how well they selected the different sections of the Wall. We repeatedly ended up in places with very few people around, and at times we were literally the only ones on the Wall. That made the experience feel incredibly special. My guide, Cheney, and our driver were friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout. More than that, it felt less like being on a tour and more like having friends showing me around their part of China. As an international traveller, expertise and trust are incredibly important to me. I had both here, 100%. When I return to China, I will absolutely be using them again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic Great Wall experience – 11/10! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful day with Oliver on our Great Wall hiking tour, and honestly, 11 out of 10 points would still not be enough! From the very beginning, Oliver was incredibly friendly, cheerful, professional and full of positive energy. He made the whole day feel relaxed, fun and completely stress-free. You could immediately tell that he genuinely loves what he does. We were traveling with our children, and Oliver was absolutely fantastic with them. He was patient, funny and incredibly child-friendly, making sure they were having fun and enjoying the experience without ever feeling rushed. He managed to turn a day of hiking and sightseeing into a real adventure for the whole family. The Great Wall itself was breathtaking, of course, but having Oliver with us made the experience even more special. He shared interesting stories and information without ever making it feel like a boring history lesson. Everything was perfectly balanced between hiking, sightseeing, talking, laughing and simply enjoying the incredible surroundings. And then came the lunch… WOW! 🤩 We honestly did not expect lunch to become one of the highlights of the day, but it was absolutely BOMB! 🔥 The food was fantastic, fresh, authentic and incredibly delicious. After the hike, sitting down and enjoying such a great meal together was simply perfect. Oliver was not just our guide for the day – he felt more like a friend who was showing us one of the most amazing places in China. Thank you, Oliver, for an unforgettable day, for your great energy, your humor, your patience with the kids and for making everything so enjoyable. We had an absolutely fantastic day hiking the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall with this tour company, and it was without a doubt one of the highlights of our entire China trip. Our guide, Cheney, was outstanding from start to finish — knowledgeable, genuinely fun to be around, and clearly passionate about sharing the history of the Wall. He helped us capture some incredible photos along the ramparts and made sure we didn't miss any of the best viewpoints. Our driver was equally excellent, safe and professional throughout the journey to and from Beijing. After the hike, we had a wonderful lunch in a small local village — simple, authentic, and delicious, a perfect way to relax after the walk. Cheney also gave us great personal recommendations for how to spend the rest of our evening back in Beijing, which turned out to be spot on. As a mother and son traveling together, we felt completely looked after the entire day. This was private, unhurried, and genuinely personal — exactly what we were hoping for. We cannot recommend this tour, Cheney, and the driver highly enough. If you're deciding between the various Great Wall tour options in Beijing, book this one. Truly a five-star experience from start to finish.

Wonderful excursion on the Great Wall of China, along a magnificent stretch far from the tourist crowds, a pleasant surprise was the lunch restaurant, one of the best meals had in Beijing. And Cheney, our guide, was truly formidable, credit also goes to him for making this experience perfect.
