This section of the wall is amazing. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a good hike and beautiful views without the crowds. Out guide, Dewit, was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make the trip enjoyable.

Frist things frist I just wanted to say that chenny was absolutely fantastic. We was on the wall for 5 days. Not only did he pick the best route but also up lifted are spirits and made us all laugh. But he also went the extra mile by providing us entertainment every night. Thank you so much chenny

We had a great time visiting the Jinshanling section of the wall. It was absolutely stunning, and the best part was how EMPTY it was! There were a few small groups that we bumped into later in the morning but we basically had the place to ourselves most of the time. Our guide David was great, he gave us just enough information throughout the hike, and the lunch was also wonderful. The vehicle was comfortable and air conditioned, and everything was well organized. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking to visit the wall!

Our 1-day hiking trip to Jinshaling was absolutely magical. Cheney, our guide, was so knowledgeable, funny, and made the day wonderful. The Jinshaling section of the wall was incredible, with so many watch towers and incredible views at every turn. We hiked through 17 watch towers, and experienced multiple parts of the wall that were untouched since they were built in the Ming Dynasty. Cheney guided us on how to safely hike through steep sections, and he always knew where the best photo spots were. We went in May and it was like we had the Great Wall to ourselves. I honestly feel bad for people who go to Badaling or Mutianyu and have to fight through the crowds. This trip with Great Wall Hiking and with Cheney truly was a once in a lifetime experience,

My family of four had an incredible full-day trek on the Great Wall at the end of April, and it was truly a fantastic experience! Our guide, Cheney, was wonderful; he shared so much fascinating history with us. We visited the Jinshanling section, which is breathtakingly beautiful and thankfully not crowded with tourists. Overall, it was an outstanding day. We highly recommend this tour, and especially Cheney, who is an exceptional guide! Thank you, Cheney, for making this day so unforgettable for our family.

My mother and I spent 2 days trekking on the Great Wall with our guide Cheney and driver Liang. This is the 2nd year in a row I have booked a Great Wall hike with this company. The team went above and beyond for us including bringing my mother to a pharmacy and taking her hiking boot shopping after hours (her old boots broke day 1) The hotel we stayed in was very nice and breakfast and dinner was amazing! We tried food we would have never had tried if it wasn’t for the team. The car is immaculately clean. And always stocked with water and snacks. Liang always drove safely. Cheney is very friendly, took many excellent photos and made us a highlight video. Do not hesitate to book with this company- they may be more expensive than other companies but you really get what you pay for here and more! See you next year! :)

The service was 10/10. Smooth from start to finish and we had the best day. Cheney was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us a huge amount about the wall, its history and provided fascinating insight about China in general. We loved the walking - we never would’ve been able to get to the more remote parts of the wall without a guide and appreciated being able to see two sections, with a DELICIOUS lunch in between.
