Lake Bled worth a visit and the drive through the National Park is spectacular
A full day tour with an informative and helpful guide. Quite a bit of travelling (approx 3.5 hours) but stops were well timed and there was free time in Bled. Lake Bled is spectacular. There’s an optional boat trip to the island for an extra 20 Euros which we didn’t do. Paid to visit castle (19 Euro, spectacular views but not much else.

Judith, thank you. The Triglav loop does mean a fair stretch in the van, around 3.5 hours over the day, which is why the stops are timed the way they are and why the free time in Bled matters. On the admissions: the boat and the castle are deliberately optional and listed upfront, so everyone pays only for what they choose, and we take your note on the castle being more about the view than the interior.
Glad the drive through the park earned "spectacular".

Too little time at Bled...
Too little time at Bled Island and Bled Castle. Felt very rushed. No need to stop at the man made lake. That was a complete waste of 40 minutes. Would be better to include Bohinj with a gondola experience. Driver was great and very knowledgeable.

Spectacular Triglav
This tour is very pricey. Our guide Luca was very chatty and easy going.
With hindsight, I would have booked a different tour. Perhaps Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj.
However, we were keen to drive through the Triglav Mountains - which this tour offers.
Lake Bled was disappointing because it was overcrowded with tourists - thus preventing us from enjoying the beauty and serenity of the area. But, of course, this is to be expected in Aug. We too also contributed to that crowd.
Luca was a great guide. Friendly and helpful. He loved to chat.
Overall - Slovenia is a breathtakingly beautiful country.

You put it fairly on Bled in August too, the crowds are real at peak season, and a quieter lake is exactly where Bohinj shines, a good instinct for a return trip. Beautiful nature of Slovenia
We had a guide named Luka who was very positive and helpful. We enjoyed the beautiful nature of Slovenia and even had time to swim in Lake Bled. So this trip is more about the nature, being outside and exploring.

A Lake Bled/Vintgar Gorge Tour Done Right
Fantastic tour of Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge. Tea was our guide — felt more like walking with a knowledgeable friend. Highly recommend.
Highlights:
Great info dropped along the route, not just recited facts
Solid local lunch recs, not tourist-trap roulette
Had backup copies of all our tickets for every location — we'd forgotten ours, total lifesaver
Flexible with the itinerary — wanted to see something, sure; wanted to skip it, no problem
Gave us plenty of solo exploring time throughout the day
Took the scenic route back through local towns instead of the highway — way more countryside views than a straight 45-min drive would've given us
Five stars. Ask for Tea!

Beautiful tour
Lots of beauty at all of our stops! Gregor was a wonderful guide and provided a lot of information to us throughout the day. We had enough time at each stop and appreciated doing Lake Bled early before the crowds arrived!

Intimate tour and fun experience
Fantastic experience. Our guide Jan was so chill and equally loved The Strokes which was a plus as we got to listen in the van ride. Got to spend lots of time in each stop and Lake Bled was stunning. My only gripe is I wish we got to see a higher view of Triglav but overall a great experience.

The Slovenian Alps
This was a very well designed trip getting to two different areas of great scenic beauty and some interesting side stops as well, in a way one could never have done on ones own.
Compared to similar trips I have done in Italy and Greece it was somewhat expensive. The guide was well informed on the sites and sights we went to see however he overdid his role with comments of a political nature which were unwarranted and which as an historian myself, were not always accurate. However I wished to avoid confrontation and remained silent. This marred what would otherwise have been a splendid outing.
