We had a great day and our tour guide Tien was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and gave us insight into BaNa Hills and My Son Sanctuary. It was definitely worth seeing!

Great communication with Tommy, we made some last minute changes to pickup time and activities of the day which was absolutely accommodated by Tommy. I panicked the night before that Apple maps showed 2 hours drive from Hoi An to Ba Na Hills, but in fact it is only 1 hour because the second half of the journey is by the very fast cable car (not driving up the mountain like maps says). Tommy came along for part of our journey to pickup his new van, and was full of energy and so welcoming of us in Vietnam and on his tour. Our lovely guide Tien was very knowledgeable, great English speaking, great company, and happily took photos of us when we requested throughout the day. I was surprised how beneficial it was having a guide at Ba Na, this place was absolutely massive and crowded and confusing, requiring multiple cable cars and trains to get between different parts. She was invaluable and we would have missed a lot of the sights on our own, not realising they existed. Loved our day at Ba Na, it really surprised us. We changed the My Son stop to Marble Mountain and did enjoy this (and came home with some beautiful hand sculpted marble souvenirs!). We were well looked after and loved our tour!

Kong is an amazing guide. He is very knowledgeable, kept us on schedule (we had a lot to cover), and was quite funny. We also learnt a lot about Vietnam's history, lifestyle, and culture. Amazing tour ... highly recommended!

I booked a day tour with Tommy Dao Tours for my parents' trip, and they had a wonderful time with Tommy and Ty! The tour included Ba Na Hills, the Golden Hands Bridge and My Son Sanctuary. From the start, Tommy kept in touch with me about the booking through WhatsApp and communication was always very clear. He even sent me photos of my parents during the tour enjoying their day. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great - something that can't be helped! However, Tommy and Ty were incredibly flexible when the weather became really bad and adjusted the itinerary without any fuss, which my parents greatly appreciated. This meant that they went to My Son Sanctuary a little earlier than planned and spent more time there. My Son proved to be the highlight, and my parents had a fascinating glimpse into the area's ancient history and the devastating impact of the war on these temples. Ty's knowledge about the temples' history, construction, destruction and reconstruction was impressive. My parents loved the local specialty lunch, too! Both Tommy and Ty spoke excellent English and brought a fun and friendly atmosphere with them throughout the day. I highly recommend Tommy Dao Tours if you're looking for friendly guides with great expertise who really care about making your day special. Our planned private tour with Tommy and his colleague Ty was to take in the Ba Na Hills and the ambitious Sunworld hill resort followed by a trip to the My Son sanctuary a Hindu holy site dating from the late 10th century which was largely abandoned by the 13th century, rediscovered and reclaimed by the French in modern times and then heavily bombed during the American war. Ba Na hills was fascinating - very like Disneyland with lots of smiling faces greeting us and music playing in the background. No doubt that this is an impressive and highly thought of destination for tourists and local families alike. Sadly, as the weather was so awful - torrential rain and high wind - we had no views of the landscape or jungle scenery. We went to the Golden Hands bridge first and took pictures but then decided it was simply too wet to want to see anything more. Ty and Tommy were very nice about it and changed plans immediately, taking us to My Son a little earlier than planned. We were a bit relieved to be climbing into the dry, comfortable SUV after our drenching. My Son was a fascinating glimpse into the ancient history of the area and at the same time brought home the destructive nature of what we call the Vietnam war (known as the American war here for obvious reasons). The temples were bombed into near oblivion by the Americans. Ty was very knowledgeable about the temples' history and construction and also about their destruction and current reconstruction projects. My Son also offered entertainment in the form of an excellent demonstration of traditional music and dance, which was highly enjoyable. Ty's (and Tommy’s) English was excellent and they were both very friendly and made our trip fun. Lunch was a local speciality and was delicious.

Excellent day, our driver was very good and Destiny our guide excellent very informative. Doing the Cham Islands on Friday. Would certainly use Tommy Dao Tours in the future.

Our family took a number of trips with Tommy and his team and they were exceptional. Quality vehicles, well informed guides and fantastic tips for all things Hoi An and surrounds. The guides and drivers to both My Son and Da Nang were just legends as well Tommy himself is an absolute gentleman and just a decent human. Hardworking and always prompt in replying to questions and tours. Highly recommended.

I wanted to combine ba na hills with my son and it was one of the few offering it. Since day 1 the communication was wry efficient. The driver and guide was on time and the tour was excellent. We had a great time and I highly recommend it

I cannot describe how efficient , friendly and fast the communication was from day 1 that I booked . Except from the guided tour I also used a transfer from airport to hoi an city . When I opened my mobile after I landed I found a message welcoming me in da nang and informing me that the driver is waiting for me ( which of course that was the service about but the message when I landed was more than expected for me )As for the tour: driver and car amazing , the tour guide very engaging and able to answer all the questions about the sightseeing or the life and culture in Vietnam in general. I would highly recommend
