Didn't enjoy much this ride . There was no tour guide as mentioned in the package. I didn't even understand what are these places. The driver kushan was very helpful person and helped me to find good place for lunch. Overall it was literally bad package tour.
The place in the image is not in Anuradhapura (It is on Polonnanruwa), You will need at least 2 days to fully coverup the locations. To us it took 7 days + more. Lot of things to see. Ancient ruins of kingdoms, sacred places , tanks, and many more. Temperature is around 29-32 Celsius. Very cool in the evenings. Morning and the evening is the best time to see the ruins. Cheap prices on hotels. Around 20- 30 $ per night (Double room)
