Wendy was an amazing guide. But also very resourceful with all of the thousands of questions I as asking her from how to book a spa and the online shopping. She was definitely a knowledgeable guide and her English was amazing. Highly recommend
Wendy was a fantastic tour guide. She speaks great English and we learned so many interesting things. She knows an amazing amount about the history of the warriors. Transportation was also very smooth.

We had a fantastic one-day tour in Xi’an with Wendy’s Xi’an Tour. Our tour guide, Wendy, was a lovely local lady who was very experienced and knowledgeable. She explained everything clearly and was extremely kind, patient, and calm throughout the day. She shared lots of interesting information about China’s history, culture, and lifestyle, and was happy to answer all of our questions. Amazing experience with Wendy!
My partner and I had a wonderful tour visiting the Terracotta Warriors with Wendy. She arrived punctually at our hotel, collecting us in a spacious and comfortable modern car. Our journey was punctuated with fascinating conversations concerning everyday life and culture within China. Upon arriving at the warriors, Wendy’s intimate knowledge of the site’s layout and hidden shortcuts had us comfortably speeding through throngs of coach tours. Arriving at the first pit, Wendy began availing us of her detailed knowledge of the history, significance and remaining mysteries surrounding the warriors. Her highlighting of small easily overlooked details enriched our experience massively more than any display board ever could. Alongside her encyclopaedic knowledge of the pits she was expert at navigating us through the crowds to the best viewing spots. By the time we were driving back to Xi’an we were feeling more than a little peckish, and Wendy provided some excellent lunch recommendations to us and happily diverted our drop off to the chosen eatery.
Wendy provided a great experience for the both me and my friend over two tours, - the first to the Terracotta Warriors and the second around the Muslim Quarter in Xi’an. She was informative and personable with a good sense of humour. Wendy is clearly very knowledgeable about her tour subjects. We would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of booking a private or small group tour in Xi’an.
