ロードス旧市街ウォーキングツアー（小グループ）

Great tour! Our guide Alexi was tremendously informative, and wove hundreds of years of history into an understandable, compelling story.

We booked the night before on Viator. Very glad we did this tour. First time in Rhodes. Excellent look see around the port and the old center district. Guide was excellent. Very informative about the history of this beautiful Island. At the end someone asked about Jewish Temple. He took a few of us there after tour was done. So glad. Also recommended great seafood restaurant close to where tour ended. That was excellent too. Tour lasted maybe 2.5 hours? There was a rest at a Turkish coffee shop with tea and baklava. Time for lunch and shopping before returning to the ship. Really good day. Only negative: walked a bit too fast but it was ok.

Guide spoke clearly and was able to weave a story rather than just spew facts. I think his name was alexias.

A lot of walking, good history, great way to get an introduction to the city. Nice coffee stop in the middle.

Alexis was very informative and made the day very interesting. He went out of his way to recommend a restaurant for lunch and to walk us to the synagogue!! Highly recommend and if you come from a cruise line the walk to the meeting spot is a very easy. This tour is not for anyone who has mobility issues as there are inclines. Also I recommend sneakers as the terrain is uneven cobbles!!

A lot of detail about building styles. Our guide had a heavy accent that made understanding difficult at times. Our guide was very knowledgeable but the content was only sporadically engaging. I got sick not long after the tour, I wondered if the complimentary tea was made with tap water.

Alexis was fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly and even gave us a great restaurant a little off the beaten path to enjoy a great meal after the tour.

After a little to-ing and fro-ing (while being entertained by a lovely, friendly Half Price Tours team) we started off on the walking tour. Just 16 of us so it was easy to hear and our brilliant guide, Alexis, stopped in the shade wherever possible. He quickly built a rapport amongst the group as we happily wandered around the beautiful, ancient Rhodes old town. Alexis' narration was informative but not at all dry. He gave us salient facts with a human side and was witty and warm throughout. During the tour we stopped for a Greek coffee and baklava at a beautiful local cafe, intricately decorated in the Ottoman style - a feast for the eyes and palate. This tour is a must-do, particularly if you have a limited time in Rhodes. Two thumbs up.

Very well organised trip. Communication with George was 10/10. Walking tour itself was brilliant. Alexis was really lovely, his knowledge of local history made this a very interesting tour. The stop off at a 600 year old cafe and traditional residential street was a sweet surprise. Would recommend without hesitation and would return.

Alexandros is a great guide! Pace of tour and his style of story telling kept us engaged for 3 hours.
