Our guide Mohamad was very well informed and very personable. Unfortunately there were a few misses on this tour... we didn't actually get to two of the promoted stops on the booking: Kampung Morten and Sin Hiap Hin. I booked this trip with both of these two stops being promoted as features of this tour, so there was disappointment when neither were even referenced on the tour. Additionally, our driver was racing down the highway at 140 km/hr while constantly on his phone for long periods of time in group chats. Taking photos of his identification while driving on the highway was far beyond the request of basic safety for the passengers. Malacca was amazing and I would go back in a heartbeat, just not sure it would be with this tour group.

Mohammed, our guide, knew his history and other facts very well, sharing general information/ knowledge about Malaysia in a fun way, at all times treating each person inclusively and acceptingly, making us feel safe. The tour was diverse including a boat trip, visit to historic landmarks, time for shopping, a great traditional ‘Nyonya’ lunch and a visit to three temples (Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist.) The vehicle was plush and comfortable. Excellent driving through challenging traffic. Well worth it and an enjoyable day. I had a bit of trouble initially contacting Viator through the app at the start of the day. Fortunately Mohammed eventually found me at the designated pick up spot after an anxious moment. A bit more info on car number and a video showing where to go exactly to find the vehicle might have helped.

A great way to visit Malacca from KL. Good comms, timely pick-up, modern, comfortable minibus. Our guide Yoga was a great ambassador for Malacca and indeed Malaysia. Very knowledgeable, welcoming and considerate, he made the trip great fun. Cruise (apparently weather permitting) was a highlight and the lunch was very convivial.

Magical Evening River CruiseI had a wonderful experience on the Malacca River Cruise. I highly recommend taking the cruise in the evening or after sunset. The colorful lights reflecting on the water create a magical atmosphere, and the boat ride feels even more enjoyable. The views along the river are beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for taking photos. It was one of the highlights of my trip, and I would definitely do it again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great tour, well worth it, Yoga is a fantastic guide, I enjoyed all the historical sites and Jonker Street. Portuguese tarts are a must try!

A great day out to Malacca with our lovely friendly guide Easther, who was very informative about the place and the history, which was really interesting. A nice lunch and a 100 year old bar in the old town wrapped up the day nicely. I was travelling solo and there was 1 other guest, so it was small, which for us, was great! My only thing was that it let me book my hotel for pick up, but I was then told it wasn’t in the area an to find my way to another pick up point. My hotel should not really be listed in the first place to avoid this confusion as there was a bit of back and forth.
