The crew was the best. They went above and beyond to make our trip special. Food and drinks were delicious. Views were spectacular. 100% recommend.

This trip exceeded all expectations. Captain Kauai is a mast of his craft and can tell you so much about the history of the area as you are cruising it will bring the past alive. The crew was friendly and the food was good. My kids had the trio of a lifetime and said it was the best thing that they did on the island. If you are on Kauai, book this trip!

Chad,Jasmine and Erin were great! Captain Alisha is very informative also. Great tour and the boat in my opinion is the best out of all Napali Coast tour options. Plenty of seats and shade!!!

My husband and I enjoyed this cruise very much. Captain Kauai and his crew were amazing. I feel bad that I don't remember the crews names. The Captain clearly knows the history of the Kauai and Hawaiian history. His delivery of the history was definitely interesting, heartfelt - clearly as a native, and it wasn't boring! We learned a great deal about Kauai. We appreciated him being available to visit with and talk to when we stopped to snorkel. The crew was always helpful, courteous, genuinely friendly, readily available and very efficient. The boat was not too crowded so it made the experience on board nice and relaxing. The length of the tour was perfect- not too short or too long of a day. For the meals we received, history we were told, the fun experience on board and off with the snorkeling, it was well worth the cost we paid. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who was going to Kauai.

This boat tour was an experience of a lifetime. I went with my husband and two teens. The Nepali coast is just a beautiful site to see and experience. We booked this luxury boat because I thought it would be less of a bumpy ride however because it was pretty windy that day it was still pretty bumpy so make sure if you do decide to go take some motion sickness medicine before hand. My husband got a little nauseous for about 40 minutes. I was good and so were the kids. Out captain was wonderful. She gave us enough information that was perfect and did not overdo it. The people working on the catamaran were amazing. I would do it again, but I would probably try the raft experience next time. I think any boat you choose for this experience would be a great one. We saw lots of spinner dolphins and that was really cool and then where they stopped for snorkeling was pretty amazing too. On this particular boat, there’s plenty of seating and shaded areas to sit, which was pretty awesome. Overall it was a great experience.

We had a fantastic time with Captain Kauai and crew Jake, Jasmine, and Julian. Captain Kauai was exceptionally friendly, funny, and informative. They all truly made the experience memorable and enjoyable. The boat was so comfortable, clean and top notch. The service and boat was exceptional and felt luxurious. The views- truly amazing. Words do not do it justice. We also saw dolphins (!!) and sea turtles (!!). A side note, the weather wasn't ideal- very windy, meaning the boat ride got choppy. My wife, who gets very motion sick, got sick torwards the end, but the crew was extremely attentive and helped her feel better. We knew this was a possibility going into the experience and anyone who gets even a little motion sick should come prepared with medicine or reconsider this experience if you get very motion sick (one poor lady was sick from the get go). You're on a boat and relying on Mother Nature, after all. Also, because it was very windy, our snorkeling wasn't great. We had better visibility and saw more fish when we did shore snorkeling on other, less windy days. HOWEVER, even with the motion sickness and the less than ideal snorkeling experience, we still would rate this a 10/10. The captain, crew, the boat, the story telling and history, the service, the beautiful views, being out on the open ocean are memories we will have for a lifetime. Thank you!

I’m 64 and been on lots of excursions around the world. This was the most exhilarating and best excursion I’ve had ever. Captain Kaua’i, Colton, Avery and Aaron were phenomenal hosts. They were pleasant, positive and aimed to please. Captain Kaua’i is a master of his ship. First the introduction and description was positive and informative. He explained exactly the conditions we would probably encounter throughout the trip. He set the tone so everyone was at ease and knew what was in store for us. During the trip he explained the Hawaiian culture, the sites, the history, the wildlife, geography and so much more. My wife and I felt we signed up for a National Geographic excursion. He was extremely bright and most of all proud of his Hawaiian heritage, culture and people. Unfortunately we had a problem on the way out of the harbor but the Captain was able to get us to a beautiful snorkeling spot and called in for the mechanics. While we were in the water the problem was being fixed or though we thought. Immediately after the snorkeling fruits were provided and we were on our way but the problem was not fixed. The Captain had a choice of taking us back and canceling the excursion or continuing on at half the speed so the engine wouldn’t overheat. He decided to continue but made sure it wouldn’t impact anyones plans since the trip would now be an additional 2-3 hours longer. Well the extra time was well worth it. The stories, the sights were amazing. He slowed the boat down and explained the changing conditions before the happened. Captain Kaua’i was able to navigate and maneuver his 60 ton ship like it was an extension of his own hand. At the end of the day he took what could have been a disastrous experience and turned it into a lifelong memory for myself and my two grandchildren ages 11 and 8. They were both intrigued by some of the stories and were thrilled by the boat experience. Next let me address the crew, Colton. Avery and Aaron were all phenomenal. They were constantly walking around serving drinks, checking to see if people were ok. During the snorkel the helped get people into the water very carefully and deliberately. Once in the water they were like sheep dogs watching for any signs of stress and assisted immediately if needed. The manned the bar, and served food and watched the deck when we had big swells and heavy wind. They were and amazing team. The ship is top notch. I’ve done lots of boat experience iwitb good and not so great conditions and I’ve never seen or ridden a boat that handled the swells, wind and current as well as this boat did. The sights had nothing to do with the crew but the explanation of what we were seeing, how it was created both from the Hawaiian people description or from the scientific version was very informative. The sights were absolutely breathtaking and makes you understand your place in the scope of things. Food was provided throughout the day. Snacks after snorkeling (fruits) , light breakfast spam musubi, lunch ( chicken, furikake rice, salad then cookies later for snack. If I could give a ranking it would be a 9.9 out of 10! The only issue would be to serve tropical fruits. Most people on the boat are tourists and I think the local guava, papaya, mango, pineapple, etc would have been nicer than the melon and berries provided. Also for snacks shortbread cookies or banana, mango or some other kinds of bread would have been great versus chocolate chip or sugar cookies. They were good but local grinds would have been next level. So I highly recommend this crew, boat and company to anyone who wants the best experience I believe on the Island. Remember they don’t control the rain, wind or seas but they will inform you so you are prepared for what to expect. We felt safe, comfortable and couldn’t have asked for a better experience Thank you for the memory of a lifetime. We will be returning with other grandchildren in another two years.

Very good cruise but MOT RECOMMENDED for anyone who may get sea sick. Very rough sea. Staff were wonderful. Snokling gears were plenty and new. Food was great.

It was AMAZING!! Alisha was our captain and she and her crew could not have been better. They constantly made sure we were doing ok, and came around with a variety of drinks all throughout the day. Breakfast was light, but perfect with pastries, some kinds of seaweed wrapped breakfast sandwiches and fruit. Lunch was amazing with salad, rice, tofu and veges, and teriyaki skewers. The warm cookies were the star! Make sure to bring a jacket, the wind is very strong and chilly. The views are breathtaking, the snorkeling is average, but we did see a sea turtle. The views of the coastline are so amazing and worth the ride to them. Alisha took time to tell us about many things along the way. We were also lucky enough to see dolphins on our trip back to port. But, most importantly medicate, medicate, medicate! If you get a little seasick make sure you take some anti nausea medicine. It was definitely worth the $$$. And again shout out to Alisha and her crew for making it a GREAT adventure!

What an experience! Captain Alicia and the crew (Erin, Julian, and Avery) were all fantastic. The scenery was absolutely amazing, the on board food options were great, and the overall care and knowledge were comforting. Alicia handled those waves and wins like a champ and the crew was very attentive to everyone’s needs. The history, the views, and the passengers were a joy and made my birthday extra special! I’d highly recommend KST to anyone. The vessel was comfortable as well. Can’t wait to come back again.
