My partner and I took the St Andrews and Fife tour from Edinburgh with David as our guide, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. David knew the history, legends, and local stories of every place we stopped, and he told them with real passion and a great sense of humour. He was never just reading from a script. St Andrews was beautiful, from the cathedral ruins to the Old Course and the seaside streets, and the fishing villages along the coast were charming. David gave us plenty of free time at each stop but kept the day relaxed and well organised, and his tips on where to eat and what to see were spot on. Coming from Costa Rica, we loved getting a feel for Scotland outside the city. Highly recommend this tour, and especially David. Thank you for a wonderful day! If you tell me which stops you made, a moment or two that stood out, or anything David did that surprised you, I can make it more personal.

This is a long tour but many stops along the way to refresh. Stuart, our tour guide was very informative and relaxed. No question he enjoyed his job. St Andrews is a must for all golfers but the town is so quant, suitable for non golfers as well. Well worth it!

The driver was very attentive. He even waited for us at the exit since it happened that the streets were closed for a race. The tour was very nice.

The tour was great. Really enjoyed the tour guide. He was engaging, informed and made the trip enjoyable. The tour bus itself needs work. Three things fell out of the overhead bins and landed on my head. The third was a HUGE ladies purse, more like a travel bag. There needs to be some attention to the size of the overhead bins or the size of articles placed in them.

Friendly, filled with facts and a safe ride. Driver was awesome, and always reminded us of departure times. No one got left behind.

We had a wonderful time traveling to the coast and Saint Andrews. Marty was a great Guide and Driver! He made our journey fun and he is very knowledgeable in the history of this beautiful County. It was nice to relax and enjoy the journey and sites along the way.

This is a great tour. Our driver, Graham, was hilarious. He is friendly, outspoken and knowledgeable. The countryside was beautiful. St. Andrew’s is a special place, the University is nice, the ruins are fun and the golf course is magical. The information about Prince William and Kate’s history there was an added enjoyment. If you are staying in Edinburgh, this tour is a “must do”.

The seats on the Timberbush Tours vehicle had no legroom. It was such an uncomfortable ride it was difficult to enjoy the tour.
