Beyhan was an excellent guide for this tour. It was a small tour with only 6 of us which made it more personal. She really knew her history and was very informative as well as friendly. I would highly recommend this tour and if you get Beyhan then you will have an amazing tour guide and experience
Omer was a charming and knowledgeable guide who told us so much about this fascinating city that we would never have found out for ourselves. His in depth relaying of the history of the city was absorbing and we very much enjoyed the trip to the ancient coffee shop!

Beyhan was an excellent tour guide. The Blue Mosque and Cisterns were amazing. The Haigha Sophia is being renovated, so our group elected to skip it. Beyhan took us to an authentic Turkish Tea cafe as well, which was delightful.

This was our first time in Istanbul as tourists and, having done some research in advance, I wanted to book a guided tour of the main attractions. This tour appealed because the size of the group was kept small, it was an English speaking tour, covered the main things we wanted to see, and included skip the line entry. We received clear information in advance about the arrangements and our guide, Beyhan, was at the meeting point when we arrived. Our group turned out to be 6 adults + 2 children so a manageable size. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and Beyhan was an excellent guide. Her English speaking skills were very good, she was personable and engaging, and she gave us lots of information without it feeling overdone. In terms of the attractions themselves, we enjoyed hearing about the history of the hippodrome and the different structures; we thought the “blue mosque” was beautiful and the Basilica Cistern was amazing - we were in awe at the sheer ambition of its construction. The impact of the Hagia Sophia suffered a little bit because of the ongoing renovation works but it still felt atmospheric, the building itself is a marvel given its age, and the mosaics are stunning. We left the tour after the break for tea - not because we weren’t enjoying ourselves, we just didn’t fancy going to the spice market on a Sunday when it would be packed out! There are so many different tour providers on the market for Istanbul and it can feel very confusing. I booked this one on the strength of the package meeting our requirements and the number of good reviews from others. The price of entrance tickets can be high and having now seen the queues, I’d say skip the line tickets are a must. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice. We thought this tour was good value for money and we would happily recommend it. So thanks to Get your Guide, and to Beyhan in particular, for a great tour.

Beyhan was the most attentive tour guide, making sure we all got photos we wanted and could hear her. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was such a delight. She also took us to a local tea/coffee place. The tour was listed as four hours but would be six with going to Grand Bazzar and I was disappointed we had other commitments and had to leave before heading there with her and our group.

All 10 members of the group found Beylan to be an excrement guide to the key sites of İstanbul. She gave us enough time to take in ( and photograph ) all we needed to, but still kept us moving. It was a brilliant introduction to the city, and I would recommend Beylan wholeheartedly
