I was looking to book truffle hunt and cooking class event, which by reading all the reviews what Cesarini was offering. However, it turned out to be truffle hunt and tasting menu for items that their associate sells in the store across from Cesarini. So eur 204 per person was a very high price to pay for overall 40 min of truffle hunt in a very hot weather (you don’t get to keep the truffles) and tasting of olive oils, cold cuts and eggs/spinach/pasta/truffle experience. I was absolutely under impression by reading the reviews that we get a cooking class after the “hunt” and that’s why I justified the price. Extremely overpriced tour that basically a tourist trap. Maybe truffle hunt can appeal to little kids to see the dog sniffing them out, but for adults it’s nothing amusing to see. And to charge that price to taste above mentioned menu is just flat out obnoxious. Very disappointing.
