If I could give this experience 10 stars, I would!! Our host was Donata and she made everything worth it! We took a quick taxi to the meeting location and got started on the preparations. Donata took her time to explain the what and why behind everything we were making. Three hours may seem like a long time, but it goes by so fast! The time we shared with our host was priceless so I think this experience is worth every penny we spent. Hearing her stories and sharing in these special recipes is a cherished memory of our time in Italy.

Wow! Thank you Anna, Julia and Maria for making us part of your family for the day. From start to finish, we had a true authentic Italian cooking experience. I can't wait to attempt to recreate these dishes at home.

This was an amazing experience. We learned to make fresh pasta (ravioli) and tiramisu, which went beyond our expectations. The lunch, which was what we made (ravioli & tiramisu), was delicious. I highly recommend this experience.

Amazing experience!!! Donata was a wonderful host. Her beautiful home had a spectacular view of La Spezia and we made delicious gnocchi with pesto and tiramisu. She also made us anti-pasta dishes that were SO amazing. Her family made us feel welcome and we would highly recommend this!!! Donata, Claudio, Adriano and Jade - thank you from our family to yours!

What an incredible experience in La Spezia. Daniela is an excellent and patient teacher. The food we created together was delicious and the conversation was engaging. Daniela, we thoroughly enjoyed spending a few hours with you and your husband. Thanks for opening your home for this experience!

I personally would not do the market shopping experience. It added nothing to the experience and made it confusing to find our cooking instructor. Our teacher was Daniela who is a very sweet lady. She welcomed us into her home and has a very nice patio where we learned to make gnocchi. We rolled some pasta dough that was pre-prepared for us to make little petite salami, cheese and tomato sandwiches. She shared the ingredients and cooking instruction so that we could make these ourselves upon returning home. We had a wonderful day and I would highly recommend doing this cooking class but minus the market experience.

This was one of the best cooking classes I have experienced. From the moment Massimo and Paola welcomed us to their home right to the end, there was lots of chatter, laughs and the best pasta and tiramasu ever made! The warmth of their kitchen and hospitality is welcoming and very comfortable. I highly recommend not to miss if you are in the La Spezia area.

Amazing experience with Daniella who invited us into her home to show us how to cook pasta and tiramisu. Once done we sat outside on her beautiful patio and enjoyed the food we made plus various homemade liquors that she had made herself. A great host, wonderful cook and a delightful experience.

I booked this experience the day before. As I was getting on my train the night before I realised the trains were all striking so I couldn't get to La Spezia that night. I emailed the customer service cesarine.com to ask whether I could be put into the afternoon session. The customer service told me I couldn't. So I booked early, fast and expensive trains to make it in time for my 10am session. On the day Cesarine.com then emailed me at 9:30am that the cesarine had cancelled and they put me in the 4pm session. I had already booked another afternoon activity so I could not make the 4pm session. I told the customer service this and they said I was getting what I wanted and that I wouldn't get a refund. I never agreed to the 4pm session on the day and was denied getting my money back even though they were the ones who cancelled. They are very inflexible. Very disappointing. I will never be booking this again.

We had an absolutely amazing time with Paula and her husband Massimo. They taught us how to cook two different types of pasta and homemade tiramisu. Their home is immaculate and beautiful located on the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and spa. We enjoyed a lunch with them with the homemade pasta and tiramisu we made, lemon chill they make from the lemons on their own tree, and local meat and cheese, along with wine and espresso. They were friendly and professional. I cannot recommend them more!
