We learned how to make fresh pasta with a gal named Luisa . She was very welcoming and gave us some background history of her town , the house and her family . The class took 2 hours and it was informative and fun all at the same time . She had prepared the garlic , zucchini and mint in a pan prior to us arriving . Once the pasta was made she cooked it and added it into the pan - presto we had lunch with fresh Parmesan and wine . We really enjoyed our time with Luisa , her home and of course the food ! This was definitely worth while and if you are interested in a cooking class - I highly recommend spending 2 hours with Luisa to learn the art of making pasta and chatting with a very delightful woman who is happy to share her knowledge of her town ,and the history of Italian cooking .

Luisa made us feel at home in her place. She took the time to explain everything in detail. Also the rich history wasn’t left behind. The pasta course was easy to follow and great to do. After making the pasta, Luisa looked it with mascarpone and sausage while we enjoyed a great tasteful cold white wine. The pasta lunch was great, and next to the flavor you could taste the difference between the 3 kinds of pasta we made. Luisa’s pasta class was a lovely experience. She guided me through making different types of pasta from scratch and then turned our creations into a delicious vegetarian dish, which we then shared. Her warmth, patience, and clear explanations made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable, and her excellent English made everything easy to follow. What made the class even more memorable was the personal touch she brought to it. Luisa shared stories about her family, Pistoia, and Italian culture, which made me feel genuinely welcomed into her home. It went beyond just a cooking class and exceeded my expectations
