Booked because the advertisement was for fresh pasta course and was very disappointed we made a risotto. It was tasty but it’s something we could make at home, we wanted to learn pasta in Italy from an Italian. The advertisement is misleading.

What an amazing experience! Communication prior to the tour was excellent! The instructions were explicit on how to find the beautiful home which was conveniently located by a water taxi. The chef, Patrizia made us feel comfortable and welcome. She provided support, encouragement, and excellent demonstrations on how to make 3 items. They were excellent, and I left with new skills as well as a list she completed with food items, recipes, and equipment-purchase suggestions. What an incredible way to enjoy family and friends in an interactive activity!

We had a great time with Rosa! I'm so glad she loves kids. The food was amazing, too. I plan to try and make these recipes at home.

Giulia did such a great job! She was organized, informed, personable, and supportive. I am a novice at making pasta from scratch. She asked about our preferences ahead of time, gave easy-to-follow demonstrations, and then let us try it ourselves. She was also raised in Venice and gave us a local’s perspective on the city. It was a relaxed, fun, and informative afternoon. Probably best for groups of 2 to 4 given the kitchen workspace. Recommended.

We have enjoyed a Cesarine experience in a number of Italian cities and this was one of the best. Our hostesses were so welcoming and charming. Patrizia has the most amazing rooftop apartment and her friend Daniela speaks perfect English. Much wine and laughter over the evening - and not just at my cooking attempts. We not only learnt about making classic Italian food but also about Venetian and Italian life. The highlight of our visit and I would heartily recommend you make it yours too.

We had a cooking class in Italy and Lisa and Patricia were amazing hosts! Really took their time to explain history of Venice and the view was beautiful while we cooked and had some prosecco. Never thought I would make amazing pasta from scratch! It was a memorable experience for me and my fiancé I definitely recommend this intimate and authentic experience!

We had an amazing time with Patrizia! She was so accommodating, the location was beautiful. We had a group of 12, which is not always easy to manage and she did a wonderful job. We all wanted to go back after leaving.

This was by far the highlight of our family’s trip to Venice!! From the spectacular view of Venice from Patrizia’s home, to the well thought out plan for teaching us how to make Tiramisu and a variety of pastas, to the demo of traditional Venitian dishes, the delicious wines and take home gift with recipes, all among a backdrop of a relaxing home and music, this was a night we will remember forever! Thank you for welcoming us into your home. We left Venice with more than some recipes…we left with a beautiful new friend.
