Unfortunately due to the weather we could not sail but the Captain ensured we got out onto the river by being towed to Banana Island. We were served some lovely local food on yhe boat and the Caprain was very entertaining in his preparation of tea after the meal. The boat was very clean and the Captain ensured we were well looked after before, during and after the trip. This trip would have been awarded a higher star rating if it were not for the very poor conditions that the animals are being kept in. The many photos on line do not feature the animals and concentrate on the banana plantation making it look very inviting. Please do not be fooled by them. If you are an animal lover this place will break your heart. This place needs investment or closure.

Our felucca ride in Luxor was a truly beautiful and memorable experience. The organizers arrived at our hotel right on time to pick us up, which made the whole process smooth and convenient. Once we boarded the boat, we were welcomed with tea, water, and fresh fruit — a thoughtful gesture that added to the comfort of the trip. Watching the sunset on the Nile from the felucca was absolutely magical — a peaceful and unique way to experience Luxor. Although we were a bit unlucky with the weather that day, as there was no wind, the team switched to motor power so we could still enjoy the full ride. The crew were extremely polite, friendly, and patient, even helping us take photos to capture the moment. Overall, it was a wonderfully relaxing experience and a perfect way to end the day. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Luxor — it’s definitely worth it!

This felucca ride was absolutely magical from beginning to end. Everything was perfectly organized — from the smooth transportation and clear communication to the warm welcome by the crew. Our captain, made the whole journey feel safe and truly special. The boat itself was really nice. Watching the sunset from the felucca was breathtaking — one of those unforgettable experiences you carry with you forever. The calm of the river, the gentle breeze, and the incredible views created pure magic. I cannot recommend this enough.

Really enjoyed sailing with Captain Ramadan on the Humpty Dumpty. He was very accommodating, attentive and patient in making sure I was enjoying myself. He also answered all of my questions about the boat, how to sail it, and what all the ropes controlled. He also respected my request to skip Banana Island. Overall a very relaxing afternoon.
