Hotel pick up was good, our guide was very knowledgeable. On the way to Marrakesh he shared lots of history, facts and interesting information. The tourist trap is in Marrakesh. Once you get there you are given the option to explore or to stick with the guide. We choose to stay with the guide, who was very nice and told us everything we needed to keep safe ( like avoiding the ladies offering to do henna, the snake charmers, monkey pictures, you do need to stear away from them trust me) The tourist trap, for me, was being taken to restaurant, pharmacy and a specific bazar that are working alongside with the tour operator. That bit felt like a trap. The restaurant was fine, we only ordered some ice creams, some people had a proper neal. Lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere, but i did overhead the guide checking on the amount of orders our group made. Then we visit a pharmacy/more like a shop. Where i felt like the demonstration of each product was a forced selling attempt. Our group spent loads, i felt like maybe we could have better prices elsewhere. Then after this, we were "steread" to a bazar with the promise of " good deals " but it was a bust. Two stars to the model of the tour, not to our guide, which again i can say it was great. I suppose that's tourism and it make sense to work has a chain but it did felt like they're coming to our purses, so that spoiled the trip a bit. Still had lots of fun, on a very hot day. Other travellers just be aware of the tour model used.

We enjoyed our day trip to Marrakech, the bus journey was around 3.5 hours from Agadir with a 20 min stop around 2 hours in on the way there, and an hour in on the way back where you could buy some food and have a toilet break. Marrakech markets were not as chaotic as I expected, there was a lot going on though loads of different stalls and side streets, it would be very easy to get lost. The guide took us through the streets of the markets for the first hour and stopped to give us some history of the local buildings. We then went to the spice & oil shop, and then for dinner which was the best meal I had whilst in Morocco, everything was delicious. I saw the reviews saying about the 45 min stop at the spices & oil shop, because I was prepared I didn’t mind it so much and I did buy a few bits. The only negative for me was the other tour guide nicknamed Cous-Cous, after dinner he asked us to follow him to a specific shop where they were very pushy in trying to make us buy things, kept following us around the shops and then offered massively high prices when we did want to buy something. When we left he told us to follow him again and we said no as we wanted to explore on our own. I saw a few others from the bus in the same shop so he obviously has an agreement with the shop owners to bring them there, which I wouldn’t mind so much if they weren’t so pushy and clearly trying to charge too much. Overall for the cost it was a good day out

Everything was on time, the organisation was good, and communication was easy. Overall, we enjoyed our trip to Marrakech. The only thing we didn’t like was wasting over 30 minutes in a so-called “pharmacy” listening to a presentation and sales pitch for argan oil, spices, and other products. It felt much more like an organised marketing stop than part of the actual tour. We don’t think we should have to spend such a significant part of a paid excursion listening to a sales presentation. We would much rather have spent that time exploring Marrakech. Apart from that, everything was fine and went according to plan.

Such a long day in temperatures of 41° led through a maze of very narrow streets packed with people and motor bikes, led to a place where you are pressured into buying lots of oils etc. The place we were taken to eat was up very steep steps then to top it off there was hardly anywhere to go that had air conditioning, what a horrible day

It was great to experience Marrakech everything went perfectly from our hotel pickup, great guide who gave us the history en route and guided tour of the souk and Medina. Overall a great day out and great value.

Great tour, great guide. We received many information and tips. As well tre excursion was well structured and organised.

We had a very good experience overall, as everything was professionally organized. The drive from Agadir to Morocco took about 3 hours and 30 minutes, as we took a 15-minute break at the rest area. On-site, we had a guided tour of about 1 hour longer and then a group lunch after which the group separated for individual activities. Abdullah, our tour guide, was very nice, but not always easy to understand in English. Due to the heat of three 36°C days, it was quite exhausting to get to know the city on foot. That is now done, and another exciting activity is checked off.

We were collected from our hotel at 8am and dropped back at 20:30ish on a large bus. Tour was okay but definitely had better tour guides. You can barely hear him especially when actually touring around the markets. Also not that engaging. A lot of time (~45mins) was spent in a pharmacy where the pharmacist talked through their products like spices, argan oils, etc. definitely a huge sales pitch. Also this trip has the obvious tourist strings where the tour guide brings you to businesses that they have partnered with. Including the restaurant- they say it has a rooftop view but the prices were aimed at tourists. Also the view at the rooftop is nothing spectacular. My bf and I skipped this restaurant and just went to a different one and met up with the group at 16:45 which was scheduled time to leave. Also we noted that because they had a previous agreement with the restaurant, they skipped the part of the markets where you walk past other restaurants so keep that in mind. Bf and I personally had lunch at La Cantine des Galles at the market and we recommend it (you can also look up the menu beforehand).

The tour itself was a good experience, largely because our guide was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining the history and culture of Morocco. He was a good man and clearly passionate about his work, though be prepared for a lot of travel time between locations. ​I do want to share a word of caution regarding the "pharmacy" stop in the souk. Our tour guide led us there and assured us it was the authentic place to buy local goods. We were introduced to a man in a white coat who even performed a quality test in front of us that looked completely legit at the time, I assumed he was using real saffron for the demo. However, after returning home, I realized the product I was sold was fake. While it colors the water yellow, the threads turn to mush within 10 seconds. I am still quite frustrated thinking about it, though I’m thankful I checked the quality at home before gifting it to my friends. I don't know if our tour guide is even aware that the products sold there aren't authentic, but I’d recommend being very careful. ​The logistics of the day were also a bit difficult, particularly regarding the restaurant the guide chose for our group. It was a bit expensive and involved a very long wait—it took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive, meaning we had to rush and finish our meal in just 12 minutes to have any time to explore the souks. Overall, it was a great guide and interesting history, but I’d suggest being cautious with the shopping and prepared for some long waits at the group stops.

Amazing day! Great tour guide spoke perfect English and made sure we were taken care of. Definitely one to do if your not staying in Marrakech but want to see the markets and souk
