Overall, this was an interesting day trip visiting two Northern Rhône wineries and stopping at a local French bistro for lunch, which is paid for separately out-of-pocket. Our guide, Eddy, did a good job keeping everything organized and running smoothly. Since Syrah isn't my personal favorite, I appreciated the educational aspect of the tour more than the wines themselves. However, the experience would be greatly improved if the wineries offered small snacks or food bites alongside the tastings, as food pairings completely transform how wine tastes. It is a worthwhile outing, but best suited for big Syrah fans or those who don't mind tasting wines without food pairings.

We had a wonderful time exploring Côte Rotie with Eddy! The domaine stops were great, the visit to the old town in between domaine visits was fun and a good break to stretch your legs. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore Cote Rotie! Only note would be that the van can get quite hot in the back, the AC doesn’t reach there so be mindful of that when booking on hot summer days.

This tour was fantastic. Our guide Kim was knowledgeable and friendly. The two wineries we visited were welcoming and the wine excellent. 5 *

It is not up to my expectation as a full day tour only visit 2 wineries, one of that are not even guided by the winery owner. Another one served with wine of supermarket pricepoint. We spent almost 2 hours at self-pay lunch which is unnecessary, if it is the case, this tour should be changed to half day tour without a lunch! (Maybe if it is the case, they can’t charge what they “over” charged as what they did now. Overall, the tour is not very informative, especially for me who has some wine knowledge, I want to hear more about the characteristics that a textbook is not going to teach us, but seems the guide is not knowledgeable enough (sorry that I do expect this for a “Northern Rhone wine tour” charged at this price point.

Margot was a lovely guide! As a sommelier and your guide, she had so much knowledge about Rhone valley wines.

Recognize that you have to pay for your lunch, though the info tells you that everything is covered. The guidance and the car as well as the choice of wine yards are top notch.

Booked this wine tour as part of my family’s trip to France. Kim was our guide, she has extensive knowledge of wines from locals like cote rotie/condrieu/saint Joseph, taking us to wineries and showing us around nice small towns in the region (she is a very good driver!) The vehicle is pretty new and comfortable (some 8 seater Mercedes). Wineries we went were exceptional. I had some of my favourite wine (cote rotie esprit de blonde!!!) in this whole trip.
