A lot of traveling, but well worth the trip! Our "travel agent" , Simona, updated us step by step of the trip, was well organized and gave us a little geography and history lesson on our way to and from the locations! Super friendly, funny and nice! Our tour guide at the Valley of the Temples was very passionate about the subject and his Sicily. He expressed it with every move and gesture! We learned a lot about the area with the information he gave us! At the Villa Romana del Casale, we were given the choice of a self guided tour, an audio tour (you pay to get a headset and it talks to you) or a tour guide. Two other couples, another tourist and us decided to get the tour guide, which Simona arranged for us. We were all so glad that we made that choice! Again, the tour guide was very passionate when he spoke and gave us insights that we may not have been made aware of had we explored ourselves or gotten the audio tour. It was an additional fee, per person (20 €/person), but was well worth it! We were extremely tired at the end of the day but thrilled that we chose this tour!

Very nice day tour. Our guide was excellent and the local quide very good as well. My only complaint was the van was too small, cramped for our group. My husband and i sat in the back row with 4 of us and very uncomfortable. For a tour that long, 4-5 hours travel time, the transport needs to be more comfortable.

The early start was worth it as the Valley of the Temples was very hot even at 9am on a relatively cool day (at least compared to the previous week). The pick-up point was easy to find and well organised, the journey smooth with a breakfast / comfort stop about halfway. The Valley of the Temples was interesting to see but the Villa Romana de Casale with its amazing mosaics just blew me away. Truly stunning. Don’t worry about taking food but take plenty of water (there are places to refill your water bottle in the Valley of the Temples). Take some cash or cards for the entry tickets (which are not included) and for food and refreshments.

The Valley of the Temples is exciting, a monument to human genius. The place, the signs, the services, the information from the staff (scarce and unhelpful in general), the accessibility, the trails, the care to preserve it, totally absent

This was a big day 12 hours but absolutely fantastic. Our Tour guide Simone was wonderful - knowledgeable - caring - fun. We left Palermo at 6.30am drove for 2.5 hours to Agrigento - Valley of the Temples tour. The early start was great as we were there in the morning before it got really hot. The Greek temples here are second most preserved in the world. The on site guide was really good. We then drove to the Roman Piazza America - amazing mosaic floors.

Simona our guide was lovely, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Roberto was an excellent driver. The only negative was the bilingual valley of the temples tour as so much time was wasted, we could have seen so much more, maybe even the museum. The Spanish speakers seemed to get much more information than the smaller english group.

Beautiful tour, highly recommended, even for families. Spectacular and unique place.

Great option for those without a private car. Simona was absolutely lovely and kept everyone engaged throughout the trip. Valley of Temples guided tour felt a bit rushed unfortunately.
