Tour got cancelled on the day without prior notice. Apparently, if the number of pax is less than 4 then the tour will not proceed.
Toni show us a completely unique experience. The restaurants were all quite individual with quality food from passionate owners who tended to be football mad and not so interested in growing a business at the expense of keeping true to their roots and bario. The asado we had in the last restaurant would be virtually impossible for extranjeros to find. And then the Milonga was a completely authentic experience with locals dancing different types of tango and seemingly lost in the moment. Toni helped us to understand and imerse in the experience. Unforgettable. A bit of a hangover today😱.
Lovely lady who knew her food and the location. Food was great and we were disappointed not to gave made the most of it. Unfortunately we were distracted due to a transport strike the next day which meant we had to rearrange flights to connect to internationally Highly recommend this
We had the most wonderful time with Toni of Parrilla Tour on our food tour in Palermo. Toni has a great personality and is full of helpful information about Buenos Aires and Argentina. We visited four different places, each with comfortable seating. All of the food that we tried was delicious — beef empanadas, choripan (sausage sandwich), two different kinds of steak with salad, and fantastic ice cream. We were also served two different wines — Torrontes with the empanadas and Malbec with the steak, both were very good. Water was also served at every stop. What a terrific way to spend the afternoon! Thank you Toni!!
Catalina was a great, knowledgeable tour guide. Visiting several locations all with a family tmisphere and with a variety of traditional Argentinian food. The empanada, chorizo and meats were delicious, seasoned and cooked to the perfection. The wine was very good too!
We had SUCH a fantastic night out in Buenos Aires with the Parrilla Tour Palermo and Milonga Night! It was everything we could have hoped for and more! The food was amazing, and our guide Catalina was so much fun! We visited local secret spots that we would never have otherwise, and the food and drinks and the history of each location were fantastic! It was also incredible to see the Milonga, and what a beautiful night watching the dancers! I recommend booking with Parrilla Tour, and you will have an exceptional night in Buenos Aires!
Disappointing customer service. I booked this tour over a month ago. we carefully planned our trip and today received notice - after several confirmations and email correspondence that our tour was cancelled for the upcoming Friday. There was never any hint that this was a possibility and as a solo traveler, I took great pains to confirm that became I was solo, this would not affect the booking. Today with less than a week to go before the trip, I received notice that either I could take a 12pm tour or they would refund my money. I have no interested in doing a daytime food tour-- and when I wrote to ask why now and after multiple confirmations on their end, was this happening. the response I received was -- "we will refund your tour." If they had given some kind of excuse - someone was sick or that they didn't have enough people etc- I probably would be writing this-- but the total disregard for their clients is terrible-- unreliable- hope this doesn't happen to you with less than a week to go on your trip- or worse the day you arrive. Won't recommend them to anyone.
The tour was phenomenal! The Palermo neighborhood was really lovely- lots of friendly people walking around, quiet, walkable streets, shaded by trees. The restaurants for each part of the meal were perfect examples of local parilla-style establishments. The food was great, and learning about each of the traditional Argentine dishes made the meal really fun and interesting. Our tour guide was a local who lived in the neighborhood and knew the best spots to go- this was definitely a highlight of our trip to Buenos Aires! I will 100% do this tour again when we return for another visit to this wonderful city.
Thank you Tyler! We are really happy that you enjoyed it that much! See you next time
Great experience, It was really nice sharing with a Local guide who was amazing , thank you Parrilla Tour , unforgettable!
Thank you so much for participating! We are really happy that you enjoyed it.
More food than I was able to eat (& I’m a big man). Grilled choripan slider, empanadas, ribeye steak, grilled lamb, sweetbreads (optional at no extra charge), grilled asparagus, French fries, fresh salad, even grilled Argentinian cheese. 2 scoops of gelato for dessert. Different beverage paired with each course, including Argentinian Malbec wine, self-made spritzer, etc… Tour guide spoke fluent English and was very likable. Not much walking (just a few blocks all together). Lasted a bit more than 3 hours from start to finish. Definitely recommend for first timers. (We rode across town in a taxi to and an Uber from the tour. Found both to be very inexpensive in Buenos Aires.)
Dear George, thank you very much for leaving your review. We are very glad that you enjoyed the tour . See you next time
