For me, this was the very best way to do a day trip. I’m not one for coach tours and guided groups, so this option was perfect. Thanasis is a highly professional and friendly driver who arrived ten mins before departure time. But he is much more than that — he is a mine of knowledge and information! We spent the round trip journey to Mycenae talking about ancient history, what to do back in Athens, and his great tips for places to see in Greece on future holidays. First-rate experience. car was clean and comfortable, water available if needed, and the driver Nokkis was very informative on both classical and ancient Greek History. A good drive there and back with time for visits to the Citadel of Mycenae, Museum and the Tomb of Atreus. Plus a halt at the Corinth Canal for photos. Highly recommended

Costa was extremely knowledgeable and engaging with our family of 7. He was prompt and offered some different choices of what we would like to experience throughout our day. We were able to take our time to visit Mycenae / Lion’s Gate which our college age kids have studied. This was the highlight of visit. As we were driving over an hour, he refreshed our memory of Greek history, mythology and biblical events and how they relate to the area. We also chatted about our families, hobbies and travels.
