Jake was amazing. We have done many of these tours and we loved Jake’s storytelling. He brought great energy and a lot of fun to the tour
My wife and I got to spend our afternoon with Alex eating our way through Hells Kitchen history. Alex was charming, knowledgeable and engaging, my wife and I joked that we went to all of Alex’s favorite places to eat and they did not disappoint! We got to ask lots of questions, and Alex spent extra time with us to make sure we had a wonderful experience. I wish I had taken pictures to post, but that just speaks to how immersive the tour was, that we were too busy eating, learning and laughing. Anyone would be lucky to go on a tour (or a date) with Alex!
Alex was absolutely incredible. He really made the history of hell's kitchen come alive. The food we had was absolutely delicious! We were able to do hot pot, cookies, Indian tacos, cheeseboats, and Mediterranean food. Such a great tour that I would recommend to everyone!

We took a Hells Kitchen tour with Claire Buckinham and I highly recommend her. Claire was engaging,entertaining, quite knowledgeable about the history of NYC, and a real joy to have as a tour guide. The food is interesting and plentiful. We added a tour of Central Park which was lovely. Book the tour, but be sure to request Claire as your guide!
Excellent tour. We have done many food walking tours and would highly recommend this one. Alex was a fantastic guide who has genuine enthusiasm and energy that makes the whole experience come alive. The variation in food represented the diversity of Hells Kitchen so well.
Wonderful experience. Jake did a wonderful job very organized. Great food great information! Highly recommend the Hill’s kitchen guided food tour. We experienced food we would have never experienced. Have we not been on this tour, that’s what made it so great!
Our guide Alex’s charismatic personality took us on a fascinating visit in Hell’s Kitchen. Learning the whole history of the area while tasting food in the selected restaurants was so interesting as well as a palate adventure. A lot of good fun. We continued on to visiting Central Park West where Alex pointed out to several otherwise unnoticeable details on statues, benches , steel marker … loved the whole tour combination and certainly highly recommend it. Great group ambiance. We will undoubtedly try another tour in the future to discover a different area of Manhattan.
We had wonderful guide, Claire. She was so knowledgeable about history of Hells Kitchen and Central Park. Food stops showed bariety of foods in atea.
Jake Wallace was amazing. He took us to some unique places in Hell's Kitchen and was incredibly knowledgeable about not only the food at each spot, but the stories of the neighborhoods. We would definitely recommend him!
