Terrible! Second day in a row that a tour has cancelled on me this time with Seasiren tours! Showed up and their kiosk was closed while the other business kiosks were open. No one was there and I received no notifications from the company or trip advisor that it cancelled. I checked multiple times on WhatsApp, my email and my texts the night before and even the morning of before driving an hour there with my family (4 of us) only to feel scammed yet again by a boat operator in Algarve that I trusted through trip advisor. Now I need to work on getting a refund from trip advisor (not a way I envisioned my vacation).

Scam Alert
DO NOT BOOK WITH SEASIREN, TRY ANY OTHER TOUR, we had a prepaid tour for 10 am, we arrived 25 min earlier but the kiosk was closed and no one ever arrived, when I tried contacting them, no one would pick up the phone +351910243056, then with the help of google I found a main line phone +351282354486, finally someone picked up the phone and said her boss was going to call me back, she never did and now denied my request to give me my money back.

All customers were informed in advance that, due to the forecast adverse sea conditions, we would need to change the tour time or, alternatively, cancel the tour.
In your case, a change of time was proposed, which you accepted and confirmed. On the day of the tour, you arrived approximately 20 minutes after the newly agreed departure time, by which point the boat had already departed.
As stated in our cancellation and no-show policy, when a customer accepts and confirms a new departure time but does not arrive on time, the booking is not eligible for a refund.
Any schedule changes caused by sea conditions are made for safety reasons, which will always be our priority. We regret any inconvenience caused, but in this case the tour was not cancelled by SeaSiren Tours.

Positive Staff Support but Issues with Onboard Conduct
I visited the port where the ship was docked and was informed by the captain that the tour was fully booked. When I returned to the kiosk, the staff member there kindly issued me a ticket for the Benagil Kayak Tour scheduled for 31 August 2026 at 14:00 from Portimão Marina.
While the junior staff and the kiosk operator were polite and helpful, my experience on board was affected by the behaviour of the senior captain. Although he spoke good English, his manner felt dismissive and not particularly welcoming. There were also moments where his conduct did not seem appropriate for a professional setting, which unfortunately impacted my overall enjoyment of the tour.

Do not trust- cancelled without notice
We waited at the meeting point and it was closed, no one showed up for our tour, no emails or messages about this tour being cancelled... terrible experience

Major let down, and they lie
Offered us 2 different days last minute when we were not even in that area and refused to go on date booked. Said at first because of weather then said they offered other options so they will not be going even in good weather. We had booked a hotel,, a train and a bus ride to the area with the sole purpose of visiting the caves. My friend was grieving and very much looking forward to visiting the caves. Very very bad service and no care in the world how it affected their customers.

The initial change to your booking was necessary due to the forecasted sea conditions, a decision made for safety reasons. Alternative dates and times were offered, and after you accepted one of these alternatives, your booking was rescheduled accordingly.
You subsequently decided to cancel the new date that you had accepted. According to our cancellation policy, once a change has been accepted by the customer and the customer later decides to cancel the booking, no refund is due.
We understand that this situation may have caused inconvenience, but changes related to sea conditions are always made with the safety of our customers as our priority, and the cancellation terms applicable to the booking were respected.

Excellent experience
Excellent way to see the area. Very easy to get in and out of kayaks. They have a very cool ramp and they ease you in and out of the water. Fantastic!

Cancelled but charged for trip
Had a tour booked for last week, one day prior in the afternoon received a message letting us know our family’s tour had been cancelled due to overbooking. Still no refund issued despite messaging the Seasirens and Tripadvisor. Not impressed…

Lamentamos qualquer mal-entendido relativamente à situação. Quanto ao reembolso, quando uma reserva é efetuada através do Tripadvisor, o processo de reembolso é tratado através da própria plataforma.
