送迎付きのツアーは、バーリ、より正確にはペトルッツェリ劇場のすべての参加者との待ち合わせ場所から始まります。運転手付きのミニバンでマテーラに向けて出発します。 マテーラに着いたら、サッシの景色を眺めることができるメイン広場でガイドが待っています。岩に刻まれた最も古い 2 つの地区、サッソ バリサノとサッソ カベオソでガイド付きウォーキング ツアーを開始します。ここでは、洞窟教会と洞窟の家を訪れる機会があります。 1993年にユネスコの世界遺産に登録されたこのユニークな街の歴史的中心部と特徴的な路地を歩きます。バーリに戻る前に自由時間があります。

Arrived in Matera at 10:00. Minivan, just 6 people in total. The excursion last till 12:00. Half of the time we stayed outside the old city not even entering it, listening to a very boring guide Mario. He showed only a small part of the old city. Couldn’t answer any of our questions. Entrance ticket to the church and the cave (2€ each), in my opinion, the tour operator could include in the price, and, of course, I would buy the tour for 4€ more. From 12:00 to 15:30 we had free time. Since I’ve been there before, I’ve brought the people from my group to a nice local trattoria and after lunch showed them another part of the city and beautiful panoramic views that showed the whole city. The transfer was great and in time, but I was very disappointed with the guide. Not professional at all, very boring, looked like he was not happy to be even there with us.
